For the science and nature lessons, the children will add a variety of seeds with pictures of fruits on Monday on scales for measuring. On Tuesday, the children will match numbers in math exercises with half apples. On Wednesday, they will number flip pancakes with spatula with an aim of learning numerical. On Thursday, the children will predict the items in the boxes and list them in charts. On Friday, the children will review their predictions and open the boxes to find out who got them correct.
This is a project I decided to do for the ABLE Charter Middle School After School Program. I help out at the Middle School every Friday. I decided to plan a series of games for the students. I made a list of all the games I wanted them to play and the supplies needed. I worked closely with Mrs.Smith, the main after school program coordinator, in order to arrange this event.

This years theme is sailing to success, the theme incorporates having fun while succeeding in our school work and in everything we do as salesians. Each grade level represents a different aspect of the theme. This year the pre-freshmen are the bells, the freshmen are the sailors, the sophomores are compass, the juniors are the life savers and the seniors are the captains. Each grade level will compete against each other to win the megaphone at the end of the year. The students will do various things in order to collect points for their grade level, otherwise know as spirit points. These things include going to school games to help support the athletic teams, dressing up in order to show school spirit, playing games, and participating in pep rallies and charity
Once they finish breakfast the students are expected to clean up after themselves so class can begin. The teacher begins by calling for her to assigned helpers to update the calendar. They then lead the class in reading out loud the month, day, and year and proceed to read sentences stating what day of the week it is and what days preceded and followed that day.
