Way back when
When i was in 7th grade i met a 6'5 lady named shannon. She impacted my life for the 2 years i got to know her. Shannon was not only a giant but a gentle giant, she had glowing personality, kind heart, everything about her is what i strive to be.
I met shannon at my school, theodore jamerson a small school located on the united tribes campus has a mentor program for students in 6th - 8th grade. I started at Theodore Jamerson my 7th grade year. The setup of the mentor program was placed to help students think about their future and all the possibilities you have. At the beginning of the year a mentor was randomly selected for you. They come every Friday and weekends were optional. Butterflies in my stomach started form when the first Friday with our mentors came. I was very nervous to

On our way to the zoo i asked her a couple questions about her life such as, “ what do you like to do on your free time?” She replied, “ read read read, i love reading.” I've always wished i liked reading as much as other people, but i just can't get into a book unless it's worth reading. Shannon felt the same way she said, “ I didn't like reading till i was in college.” “ The trick is to picture yourself as the main character in the book and go from there.” As we approached the zoo we met the fellow classmates of mine, her husband, and her son. Walking over to meet them was nerve wracking, it was scary enough meeting shannon now i have to meet her husband and son. All the nervousness was in my head of course, when i met her husband Adam, he immediately made me feel like i was more than a stranger he just met. Cole, her 3 year old son who just started talking was shy, but as we started to walk around he began to lighten up. At the beginning he hid behind his moms leg, and now he was trying to talk to me, ask me to go play with him, and asked if i was gonna come with them to the
Some of the conversation consisted of us being very annoyed at the fact people could not pronounce Ryan Beatty’s name correctly.
The night was another quiet one , the morning even more quiet . No more family sit downs at the table , just coffee brewed from whoever wakes up first and help yourself to breakfast. I sat outside the porch with my coffee , first day of October with the fall feeling in the air , I was looking at nothing , I pulled out my cell phone and decided it was time to tell Trever my input on who is doing this. I heard his phone ringing , but it went straight to voice mail , I left a long message explaining everything , hoping this will get him to look into her.
On a Saturday morning, around 10am, my family was getting ready for my niece’s (Maritza) 4-year-old birthday party. After 12:30pm we were already at my sister’s (Adele) house, ready to give my niece a hug and her annual present. At the moment Maritza wasn’t home, so I stalled for a bit. Chatted with their neighbor, few high school friends, and their wife’s. Finally, she showed up along with her father. The first person she hugs is me, I’m her favorite uncle, according to her, as she hugs my legs and looked up and says, “hey uncle J.” I replied “hey?” with a bit of a curiosity on my mind. Her lip had a big red lump. I managed to not ask her what had happened on her lip. I’m thinking it’s a “I fell down” type accident. The party went off, and
Coach Shapiro raises his monogrammed aluminum whistle and it is the most unholy sight I have ever laid my eyes on. I allow myself to exhale. I attempt taking in the air of the room when I inhale. Instead, I am greeted with the sweet ripe smell of ‘determination’. Determination is Coach’s word for sweat, as in Ya ain’t had enough ‘til ya got determination all over your body or Practice ain’t over ‘til ya are able to fill a glass with your determination. My pores are boundless and eager. My anxiety starts to show itself through the determination that leaks off of me like a faucet.
"C'mon Lenick...Keep your chin up" As Chance says as he proceeds to fight his student. "I haven't given up before Chancellor, I won't start now." Lenick then throws a punch to Chance. Chance dodges the punch and takes Lenick's arm, throwing him onto the ground. "You are getting to predictable young apprentice. You have to learn to notice your opponent's maneuvers, not let your opponents see yours. That's what it takes to become a Specialist." Lenick gets back up and ready's himself so does Chance. As Lenick is about to strike, The final bell rings, Chance goes to a rest position, "That is today's class." Chance then walks over to Lenick, "Remember what we talked about, make sure you study your opponent before they have the chance to study you."
Ignoring me, he continued, "She broke up up with me because I bought her a simple neclace for her birthday not the diamond bracelet she wanted."
“Petlon get in there,”Coach said. At first I was like what does he mean. I was confused because at the time Eli was a better center. I figured I should hustle out there and give it my best try, so that’s what I did.
Fade In:Ext. Castle Fisher - NightWe open on dark night, the air is cold and the full moon is just starting to peak out from behind the clouds. There is a grand castle sitting atop a hill, which overlooks the North Sea. At the base of the hill we see a mob of poor villagers walking toward the castle gates. The countless villagers are illuminated by the glow of their torches, as they are seen carrying an assortment of tools and weapons toward the castle. TITLE CARD: England, 1838Cut To:Int. Ian ran upstairs to take a five minute shower, and quickly dressed in a blue and black plaid shirt with some khaki shorts. He attempted to fix his hair, it was a little damp, but there wasn't time to properly dry it, so it was fine.
" Ah... did that child just...?" Cole turns his head side to side, trying to see where did that infant disappear to. He then looks under the table, wondering if the poor thing slipped out of his father's arms. "Where did that little one toddle off too?" Cole slowly lifts his head back from under the table when Lenny gleefully chasing after his baby boy. Ah, the life of a parent. Well, super natural parent that is. A bittersweet chuckle escapes from his mouth as his attention turns back to the aggron lad in front of him.
"Junior year is the year you find out who you really are." That's what I have heard from previous juniors in my two years of high school. I had started to believe they were right but didn't want to settle with it until it happened to me. I have been friends with Ally since we were pre-school age. We had briefly lost touch for the past few years but began to reconnect once we had more classes together. After her first day of softball practice, Ally came to me and said, "Kelsey, the new girl on the softball team, is just so annoying. Like, I can't stand her."
Running as fast I can to get to safety from the crackling fire. Everyone around me is scared some people are running around fighting and yelling all I hear is Ahhh. I'm a couple blocks away from the lake I'm so happy. Then I turn around and see a shadowy figure
Since each act that affects his life, which thence I assumed my own, follows a common reason; therefore, I return to the source of my troubles and pose again my inquiry. In the morning, when I woke up, I found this drink — which inspired and filled my heart with affection — drenching my eyes; its true flavour, nevertheless, wading across my current and inherent suspicion.
Dylan: Hay Molly, i got shut down from my video games until my make up work when I missed school is done. :(, looked forward to doing them too.
Kenny sped down the steep flight of stairs, starving. The scent of freshly cooked pancakes made his mouth water as he tried to eat up the scent. He opened his mouth, letting the comforting scent bathe his tongue. As he was caught up in whiffing up as much of the delicious bread-like smell, he tripped over his own foot. He went tumbling down the stairs. To his luck, there were only three or four stairs left.
