The boy Shiloh can't sleep. The boy Shiloh can't sleep because he is worried about the war. In the story, “ The Drummer Boy of Shiloh”, by Ray Bradbury three symbols that is symbolism could relate to my life are the uniforms the men wear, the muskets in the war, and the peach blossom that hits the drum. First, In, “The Drummer Boy of Shiloh”, by Ray Bradbury the first symbol that could relate to my life is the uniforms that the men wear. The uniforms that the men wear can relate to my life because like the soldiers they wear uniforms on the field is like when i go to a sports game i dress up for my team that I want to win. Another way it relates to my life is when I go to run cross country I am going to be wearing my team's shirt or colors just like the soldiers are going to wear their team's colors or shirt. The last way the uniforms can relate to my life is when I go to my brothers basketball games I wear the uniforms of their team just like the soldiers wear uniforms for when they march into battle. The peach blossom that hits the drum can relate to my life because the peach blossom is fragile just like how I am fragile and can easily be torn to pieces.
