Tom sat up and pulling a cushion onto his lap, he hugged it protectively against his chest. “You were staring at me,” he mumbled against his trembling fingers.

Taking an unsteady breath, Tom waited for the indignity to begin. Several long seconds passed before he felt a slick finger pressing against him.

Louis set his fork down, taking a few moments to process what Harry just said.

The beat of Henry's heart elevated and his fingers trembled as he carefully shook the younger boy's shoulder, but his efforts to rouse him failed.

He averted his gaze when she straddled him. Her hand rubbed down the center of his chest to his stomach. Then Raven cleared his throat. She sighed, dug out the bullet, and then injected the rest of the serum into his shoulder.

Tom slowly rolled onto his back, his breath catching in his throat as a sharp pain flared in his ribs. “I’m fine,” he replied through gritted teeth.

“If you are going to bullshit me you are wasting my time. We will try again at breakfast tomorrow morning.” Sterling grumbled. Calum closed his eyes trying not to cry. He swallowed thickly as his breaths began to quicken.

Louis was silent. He looked back up at Harry narrowing his eyes. The alpha frowned and crossed his arms.

“Thank you,” he whispered, tilting his head up to look you in the eye. It was dark but his eyes still seemed to shine and unconsciously, you began to lean in. Your arm snaked around Leo’s neck and, smiling, you pressed your lips against his.

Leorio clenched his teeth again, wells forming in his eyes. He bent over his legs, shoving his elbows into his knees as he ran his fingers through his short black hair. A muffled cry escaped, despite his best attempt to bite down on it and drag it back down his throat.
