Judaism and Hinduism Judaism and Hinduism are among the oldest living religions around the world. They both have shared a notable relationship throughout history. Both religions were known to be ethnic religions and not promoting conversions from other religions. Hinduism is concentrated in the Indian subcontinent, which is also the birth place of the religion. Judaism is pivoted at Israel, which Jewish people claim is the land of their forefathers. The Hinduism religion was brought to India by the Indo-European, Aryans. The Vedas is where we know of the Hinduism religion to originate from. The Judaism religion centers on the Torah and Talmud. Karma is a strong belief of the Hindu culture, they believe that the kind of life you live will determine the life one had in its reincarnated life. Yoga and meditation are two of the most important principles of Hinduism and is used to clear the mind and create a state of serenity for oneself. In terms of scriptures, Hindus refer to Vedas while Jews refer consider the Torah as their religious. The language of these two texts are completely different since the Jews have their bible in Hebrew and the Hindus have their religious texts mainly in Sanskrit.
