My visual representation personifies the nature and character of Napoleon, and embodies his actions against the lower class animals. Being a selfish, totalitarian dictator, Napoleon uses military force (his nine loyal attack dogs) to intimidate the other animals and consolidate his power. As well, his selfish desires lead him to alter The Seven Commandments to support the idea that there are no rules about not acting like a human. The mask represents how Napoleon’s personality fits that of a human’s. To be specific, Napoleon and Joseph Stalin are quite alike. Firstly, Napoleon acts as one of two leaders of Animal Farm with Snowball, as Joseph Stalin acted as a leader with Trotsky after the Russian Revolution. Secondly, Napoleon isn’t as clever
When speaking of modern totalitarian states Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini are bound to be mentioned. While being significant leader of the nation during time of depression and devastation, in which was caused by the first world war. They both were about to gain power in similar fascist and totalitarian views on how a country should be run. Despite their many similarities, they also were very different through their initial efforts of revolt, social ideas and principles and their fall of power. For one example; Hitler believed that the Arian race was more superior over other races. While on the other hand, widespread nationalism for remembering The Romans former of glory was Mussolini nobility.
King Kamehameha and Stalin were effective leaders. Both were both proud of their economic systems and both representative of their people. Kamehameha demonstrated being proud of his beliefs by keeping the kapu system strong and enforcing people’s behavior, making sure everything was in order. He also made a new law called The Splintered Paddle. This law made it so that people weren’t allowed to attack a person without purpose. The law made Kamehameha an effective leader because people felt safer and the kingdom was more peaceful by having the laws enforced. Kamehameha portrayed himself as being hospitable by trading trading sandlewood to foreigners for various items. He also displayed his leadership by rebuilding villages and taro patches showing
Napoleon is a representation of Joseph Stalin, a ruthless and power-hungry dictator who overthrows Tsar Nicholas II, represented in Animal Farm by Mr. Jones. In the beginning, Stalin promises to make Russia successful, make everyone equal. However, Stalin slowly corrupts, and changes the laws to benefit him instead of the people. Besides the Russian Revolution, this is shown in Adolf Hitler’s rise to power. When Germany loses the war, the people are angry.
The two leaders Joseph Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev had both similarities and differences in their approaches to matters. One of the commonalities between the two was that, they both led the Soviet Union. Nikita Khrushchev took over from Joseph Stalin, following his death. Both leaders believed in communism, and thus were for the idea that communism should take over the world. During the WWII, the two leaders shared ideas in regards to the war with Germany.
Napoleon is based of Joseph Stalin who was the leader of the Soviet Union which lasted from 1922 until his death. Both figures were connected because of the way they ruled their territories. Stalin himself was a totalitarian ruler who was known for eliminating those who he thought were a threat. An example could be seen Stalin's secret police which were like Napoleon's dogs.
In some point in our lives we notice our parents act somewhat like a dictatorship. You may hear your parents yell “Clean your room now or you are grounded!” or “You are never allowed to do that again without my approval.” Even though your parent’s dictatorship is similar in a way to Stalins, it is no where as close to his ways of a dictatorship. But it is just a general idea between the two.
The character Napoleon from Animal Farm is similar to Joseph Stalin because they are both dictators and are both selfish. Napoleon, who is a cruel leader from Animal Farm only cares about himself and will take
The lives of the animals had an major effect on the book especially when they lived under Mr.Jones and Napoleon. They didn't live any different with one another. The animals to me really didn't kill for food with Napoleon, but Boxer is killed for money when he's pretty close to death.
Stalin's and Lenin's policies were very similar but Stalin changed Lenin's policy and Stalin's policy was far more harsh. Lenin and Stalin’s social policies were to get rid of religion. Lenin and Stalin were also comparable in their economic policies, which were to have the government control the economy. Stalin’s economic policies broke with Lenin’s to create, what were in effect, two new Soviet revolutions in industry and in agriculture. Lenin and Stalin both wanted to achieve socialism in Russia, however their plans to achieve this were different with Stalin's way being more harsh.
Napoleon and snowball are two of the biggest leaders in the book “Animal farm”.They share their differences and characteristics in many ways as both seem to fight an endless war on trying to be the best. Napoleon was a pretty big mean looking Berkshire pig, and the only Berkshire on the entire farm. He seemed to almost always get his way and would become very upset if it didn’t go the he wanted it to. Snowball seems to be the more suttle and more intelligent pig out of the group. He is more content on trying to benefit the whole farm while napoleon is really more focused on getting rid of snowball so he can be leader. For example while snowball carefully planned out how he was going to build the windmill,
Napoleon Bonaparte and Otto von Bismarck not only affected the outlook of their own nations, but the outlook of Europe as a whole. These two people were uniquely responsible for prominence of their respective countries during their rule. However, they differ each other by governing ideologies, military expansion and religion. The greatest successes of the two had is associated with their military.
Powerful dictators ruling by terror were also known as Hitler and Stalin. Hitler’s rule in German began in 1933, as he was elected through legal means. While Stalin’s began in 1929 and became Russia’s leader when Lenin died since he obtained the highest title. As the German territory was ruled under the fascist government, the Russian government was ruled under communism. Although Hitler and Stalin ruled in different locations, they both managed to incorporate long-term plans and exterminate opponents, however by taking upon discrete approaches.
Napoleon is much harsh and a stern master he likes people to know he’s the leader, he is bluntanted for power. Napoleon uses his 9 military dogs to consolidate his power. He was very spoil and got his way many times. Napoleon takes charge of the milk and apples. He does take part in no activity with the animals. Napoleon is very creative in his secretive ideas he is very conniving in his ways to get more power by pulling animals to side brainwashing them. Later on he gains power. Snowball wants to better the animals morals and physical ways. He loves to challenge napoleon , for control. Snowball is intelligent, passionate and love all animals. Eventually snowball wins the loyalty of the animals and cement his power. Snowball does seem to prove a better alternative to napoleon dishonest. Snowball also wrote the seven commandments.
The feeling given off to the viewers ties into their logical sense of mind because it shows how similar Napoleon and Stalin were to each other. While being so alike, it further shows how evil Stalin was to the common people during the reign over his empire. While this topic being propagandized may be hard to understand, George Orwell presents it in a very clear way, using animals and simplifying the intentions of the Communist Russia. Stalin tricked his people into believing things that weren’t true as Napoleon did. From leadership to dictatorship, they were both good at one point, until they got too much power.
Lenin and Stalin were similar in a few ways, Lenin’s ultimate goal for the Soviet Union and the Communist party was World Revolution. World revolution was led by the working class called the proletariat. With that Stalin has some of the similar ideas but went down a different road to establish his idea and goal. When it comes to Stalinism, there are essential features that are unique. Stalin used some ideas of Marxism and Leninism along with his own spin in it.
