he Middle East, China, and Africa had similarities and differences with their politics, education, religion, social, innovation, and art. They had similar concepts and different perspectives.These early societies carried on techniques from civilizations before them and also developed advancements of their own. These contemplations and diversities occurred during 600 BCE and 600 CE. Politics in The Old Kingdom in Africa and the Middle East were similar, but the city states in the Middle East soon transformed into kingdoms under the king’s control. The Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom was ruled by pharoahs. Overtime Egypt developed a strong central government. China’s political system was based upon dynasties. Yu ruled and brought order to the region around 2100 BCE. He constructed roads, encouraged trade, controlled flooding, and controlled drain swamps to create farmland. He passed his power to his son, Qi, which created the Xia Dynasty. Around 1750 BCE, a local leader named Tang overthrew the Xia Dynasty to develop the Shang Dynasty. The early Chinese didn’t have a writing system, but later the Shang created a written script of pictographs. Like Egypt, usually only scribes could read and write. They also had standard systems of measurement in China and Africa. In Africa, men were educated and had many job opportunities. However, women were not educated. The Middle East, China, Africa were all polytheistic, believing in multiple gods. Others in the Middle East were monotheistic, believing in only one god. The Middle East and China believed that the gods controlled nature. The Chinese even used oracle bones to inscribe questions to the gods. In Africa, they believed in Ra, the sun god; Osiris, the god of life and death; Isis, the wife of Osiris as well as the goddess of
