Seminar Report Sniffer for Detecting Lost Mobiles www.seminarsonly.com Seminar Report ABSTRACT: The main scope of this paper is to detect the lost mobiles. Each and every day thousands of mobiles get misplaced or lost, though effective way for the blocking of the lost mobile to prevent unauthorized person from making and receiving the calls has been done by the manufacturers of the mobile with the help of International Mobile Equipment Identifier (IMEI) has been done but however there has been no development or very little progress for the detection of the misplaced mobile phone. For the detection of lost mobile SNIFFER plays a vital role .The sniffer device has to be designed precisely and size should be reduced for easy mobility …show more content…
It should operate at a frequency that is much different from the frequency of the current cell in which the operation of detection is being carried out. Some of the main important things are the frequency that has to be generated by the transceiver section is around 900MHz range which is a VHF range and it is necessarily to design the oscillator circuit for that frequency range .Another important is the www.seminarsonly.com Seminar Report cooling that has to be provided to the circuit while designing the circuit that is to be operated at 900MHz range of frequency. Hence proper design of base station is an important thing in the design of the sniffer. Mobile phones as well as the base station has low power transmitter is also transmitting at low power. The transmitter of the sniffer has to be a low power transmitter. This helps in the process of reducing the interference of the device with the devices that are in the other cells. 3.2 DESIGN OF UNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA: Though the transceiver in a sniffer plays an important role in the detection of the mobile phone but however it is the directional antenna that has a major role in the design of the transmitter. The directional antenna acts as the eyes for the sniffer for the purpose of the detecting the lost mobile phones. Hence the proper design of the directional antenna is required. Antenna is a device which works at specified frequencies range for transmitting or receiving
Today the reception in Toronto is impeccable due to the antennae carrying UHF, VHF, Microwave, TV and fixed mobile communications capabilities.
2. Radius; increasing the radius will increase the inductance value and the Q of the device; somehow it will resonate at high frequency.
spatial variations in the radio environment and avoid interference to other users. Through Cognitive capability, spectrum holes can be identified at specific time or location. Thus the best spectrum and appropriate operating parameters can be selected.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that cell phone companies in the U.S. make 95 percent of their phones traceable by technology to enable quick location of an individual in the case of an emergency (Burten, C., 2012).
As such, The particular consideration in the advertising plus the imagination in the general public include grabbed by it. During the last few years,Cell phone devices have received dramatical increase as well as there are at present close to a pair of billion dollars usersworld-wide. Indeed, in many formulated countries, cellular phones are getting to be an essential company deviceas well as a part of everyday life, as well as in many creating countries, cellular phones tend to be easily supplantingantiquated wireline
Amateur Radio, better known as “Ham Radio”, is a hi-tech international hobby that exists for personal two-way communications, experimentation, and public service that is greatly enjoyed by people from all walks of life and all corners of the world. Ham radio has been referred to as “Old school” Communications since it has been around for over one hundred years and still going strong. It has also been compared by many as the Facebook, Twitter and the first wireless phone from the old days.
While the Radio Frequency Identification Device has been in existence for almost 50 years, the use of this chip in human beings is an advancement of the technology. The chip has mainly been used for tracking animals and goods throughout is existence. Generally, the RFID chip consists of two main parts i.e. an antenna and integrated circuit chip. It's been used as an effective detection mechanism since the antenna can recognize the chip regardless of whether it's within its line of sight (Alam, 2011).
receiver just under the skin. The receiver takes the coded electrical signals from the transmitter
Most people have a lot of personal information on their cell phones, from phone calls to pictures of them and their friends. I think that the government should have access to one's cell phone information without a warrant, but with very specific restrictions for when they can look through your phone and why. Normally, the government needs a warrant to search your things ("The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." -The 4th Amendment of the US Constitution)
In the year 1700s, for sending information, messages and data from one location to another location people used aboriginal approaches, however these approaches varied in accordance with the distance and length of these message signals. The invention of primitive telephone structure was done by Alexander Graham Beli in 1876 which led to the contribution to the progress of inter-city telephone lines towards the end of 1880s in the United States of America. In the early 1990s, the modern radio was invented and the first commercial radio station was established by the 1920 in Pittsburg (Detroit Station). By 1934, municipal police radio systems were using AM (Amplitude Modulation) mobile communication systems in the U.S. FM (Frequency Modulation)
Lee de Forest was an American inventor with over 180 patents to his credit. He named himself the "Father of Radio," and famously said, "I discovered an Invisible Empire of the Air, intangible, yet solid as granite .There are hundreds; if not thousands, of uses of radio spectrum & technology. Everything from baby monitors & broadcasting to radar & radio beacons are applications of radio. Did you know that technologies that underpin mobile radio were first to put work in the 1890s on behalf of ocean going ships. Cellular phones including personal communication service devices, may seem like one of the newest land Mobile Services, but

Mobile phones have become a necessity for life, and without this thin gadget, many people would feel incomplete. We now use mobile phones in our everyday life as a phone, voice recorder, diary, alarm clock, watch and for making and confirming appointments, dealing with clients etc. Mobile phones are for many, fundamental when organising their lives. Mobile phones are not simply an electronic gadget, and it is difficult to define in one way about the usage of mobile phones. With the advances of technology, mobile phones are becoming a way of life. Mobile phones are not used as just communication tools but are also considered as devices which have strong communication networks along with the other functionalities such as audio solutions, FM
A mobile phone works on a unique networked system which needs no wiring, no fixation and no botheration. Originally it was used in cars, airlines, and passenger trains but increasingly it is becoming ubiquitous. It is basically low- power radio telephone. In this magical system calls go through radio transmitters that are located within small geographical unit which are known as cells. Since each cell's signals are too weak to interfere with those of other cells operating on the same frequencies and more channels can be used than would be possible with high power radio frequency transmission. Narrow-band frequency modulation (FM) is the most common mode of transmission, each message is assigned a carrier, unique to the cell from which it is transmitted.
A rectenna is a rectifying antenna, a sort of antenna that is used to convert microwave energy or radio frequency energy into direct current signal that can power low sensor devices. They are modelled as a part of wireless power transmission systems that transmit power through radio waves or electromagnetic waves. A basic rectenna, comprises of a microstrip patch antenna with a RF diode. It is nonlinear rectifying element (for example Schottky diode, Zener diode, IMPATT diode.... etc.). The diode rectifies the alternating current or bidirectional current induced in the patch antenna by the RF waves, to generate DC or unidirectional
