Introduction
This is the Salomon Wonder. It is an all mountain/free-style with a mixed camber for supreme edge control and when I need it the perfect pop. Now if you didn't understand what I just said while describing this board I hope by the end of my conversation you all you will be able to decipher the terminology I just used.
Now by a show of hands how many of you snowboard or ski? I am not surprised with the amount of people who do snowboard and ski. For those who have never skied or snowboarded and want to. I am here today to help you make a better decision in choosing a snowboard. Since I am a snowboarder I will only be talking about snowboards today—sorry skiers.

Sizing is a key component of picking a snowboard. Sizing is linked to height and riding style.
Height and Style of riding come hand in hand says Tylor Berreth. I was able to perform an interview with one of my close friends which happens to ride for Burton, Phunkshun, Spy and many more credible companies. He shared with me some professional advice regarding sizing snowboards.
A beginner is advised to have a board rage from the chin to nose. A board like this can help with balance and speed. Two components one must have to learn.
A smaller board, which Tylor rides, is easier to jump, spin, and flip. So advance park riders like me usually steer closer to boards that are smaller and easier to maneuver.
Lastly a board that goes above the nose is usually a free-riding board and used in deep powder to a have a larger surface area to “float” on the snow (Berreth).
