Stonehenge Stonehenge is actually not part of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. But I still think it should. Probably the only reason that it isn’t on the list is because Philo (the maker of the list) didn’t know at all about Stonehenge. But after 5000 years it still exist. Isn’t that some kind of miracle? Stonehenge was built in several stages. It all began about 5000 years ago. It was approximately 3000 B.C. and back then it was just a simple earthwork where people buried the dead. It only existed out of sarsen stone. The stone circle in the middle was built around 2500 B.C. This is almost entirely made of bluestone. They have used two types of stone for the construction. All the bluestones for the construction are imported from places
