In episode four, Houston makes a plan with him and his troops to have a surprise attack. They have a surprise attack on the Mexican Army in the decisive Battle of San Jacinto. They start by sending the Rangers as a distraction. As they distract the Army, they blow up Vince’s Bridge, along with some of the Santa Anna’s soldiers that are there. It concluded with the gunman, 25 year-old Micah Xavier Johnson of Mesquite, Texas, being shot dead by the Dallas police after attempted negotiations failed. Videos showing two men shot by police in both Louisiana and Minnesota created protests in Dallas and lead to erupting fire. The gunman's house was warranted to search; bomb-making materials, ballistic vests, rifles, ammunition, and a personal journal of combat tactics were all found. Less than three years after the assassination of the John F. Kennedy, another deadly shooting event took place in the state of Texas. It was less than three years after another big city in Texas was overcome with shock and fear. Though this event did not contain people as well known as the 35 president of the United States, it was significant because it is recorded as the first mass public shooting on a university campus in the history of the U.S. Austin, the capital city of Texas and home to 218,981 people during that time, was also a well known city because it was home to the University of Texas, a prideful school known for its academics and athletics.

On the early morning of Sunday, September 15th 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama four members of the KKK planted a minimum of 15 sticks of dynamite under the steps of the 16th Street Baptist church, close to the basement. At 10:22 a.m. the 16th Street Baptist Church received a phone call from an anonymous man who simply said “Three minutes,” before hanging up. Less than a minute of the call, the bombs exploded as there were five children present within the basement of the church. Out of the 5 children who were in the basement 4 of them died from the explosion 14 year old Addie Mae Collins, Carole Robertson, Cynthia Wesley, and 11 year old Carol Denise McNair. Texas mass shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs. Americans have and church members have reacted in many different ways on to prevent tragedies like this one. A way Americans should respond to this tragedy is in a non violent was or combative way, which is a more effective and morally right way to do so.
The Beltway Sniper attacks disrupted an already unsettled community. The Terrorist attacks that took place on September 11th 2001 the area effected by the attacks more commonly by the locals as the DMV (District, Maryland and Virginia) area. Only a year after the events of 9/11 tragedy strikes in the form of two snipers the devastated the community. One cannot really understand the motive of these men without knowing a little about the two men and the crimes the committed.
