When it comes to asthma this illness can be very harmful if not treated right. This illness can be harmful to adults be very harmful to kids. The can have very bad coughing at night, wheezing, breathlessness a much more. Since there is no cure for this illness I would consider this a secondary illness. The reason I say this is because it is an illness that has already occurred. Now the doctors are trying to prevent any other problems and slow the process. Asthma is no joking matter this illness has to looked at very close. Anything can bother your lungs causing you to have an asthma attack. There are a bunch of things that can trigger your asthma such as smoke, dust mites, outdoor pollution, pets and so on. Asthma affects the body by slowing down the flow of air into the body and lungs. When certain things start an asthma attack, receptors in the body and the airways respond by tightening the muscles. This then triggers a sequence of reactions in the body, which contributes to increased inflammation and mucus secretions.

An asthma attack is and can be very frightening. You will cough, struggle with your breathing, or feel a shortness of breath.
