Taurus's Horoscope: Character Analysis

I would describe my personality as diligent, fun loving, and adaptive. I enjoy spending time with my friends and my sorority, yet I have taken on a position within that sorority that requires me to be on top of nearly all details taking place. I enjoy working hard to make sure everyone else has a smooth-running sorority experience. I like to go with the flow and enjoy like as it comes!

For the astronomy assignment I will be doing Taurus because it is my star sign. Taurus can be seen best in the northern hemisphere in winter and spring and best seen is the southern hemisphere in summer and autumn. Taurus represents a bull and is an astrological sign.

I have an enormous sweet tooth; the way to my heart is through a cupcake (that was a hint, by the way). My memory is incredibly sporadic; I can remember a dream from when I was 3 years old yet I have no idea what I ate for lunch yesterday. (I can’t remember the website now but) A website said that if you believe in astrology wholeheartedly that is 90%-100% true for you. If you believe on the down low, just dabble here and there, it is most likely 40%-60% true for you. Finally, if you don’t believe at all it would only be 0%-20% true for you. In some aspects it seems totally fake. The chance of everyone born in the same month as you having similar traits to you is about as likely as evolution, it can’t happen. But if you think about it, I would say at least half of those people wouldn’t believe in astrology at all and maybe 20-ish% would just believe a little. Though that may be the case, I would still say it is highly unlikely. Most of the tools used in “reading your horoscope” I believe are “hocus pocus” (no pun intended… well maybe a little…). Things like Tarot Cards, dowsing rods and runes may help you to “feel the energy” but really all they’re doing is putting on a show. Astrology is definitely not irreducibly complex, and I could probably rip this apart piece by piece and dive head first into the root of all the stars. [For the sake of my sleep schedule I will save that for my final copy xD] I will add something though, the horoscopes you see in the paper are definitely not something you should believe, and they are most likely not done by someone who knows what they’re doing.

Each sign is assigned to a group, or a mode. These groups/modes would be Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. These signs usually start when the Earth changes season (March-April, June-July, September-October, December-January), so these signs are known as “the initiators.” People born under one of these signs are usually active, quick, ambitious, and probably selfish. These signs also set the tone for things and are the ones to make plans. Then there’s the fixed signs. The fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. These signs are known for their “stability” because people born under these signs are born in the middle of the season (April-May, July-August, October-November, January-February).

Born in Garland, Texas, I am the middle child to my older sister Miles, and little brother Nathan. In my free time, I enjoy reading about Zodiac Signs, and with mines being a Scorpio, I feel like most of the things are true. My favorite color is red and I enjoy eating Nachos and French Fries. Fortunately, there is more to me than my favorite color and foods, like I love Netflix, kids, and aspire to become a Trauma Nurse one day!

Medical Marijuana has been in use for decades. However, it was not until recently that doctors began to research the effects of Marijuana on the body and the mind. Marijuana has both negative and positive consequences, and neither dominates the other. Several doctors swear by the drug, claiming that it has qualities that prescription drugs can not offer. Other doctors claim that the drug is not necessary in the field of medicine, because quite frankly Marijuana isn’t a medication. I believe that Marijuana should not be an option for patients due to the long lasting negative effects. Yet, the idea of prescribing the drug to terminal patients is one that has been debated about in almost every hospital across the world.

Sassy, kind, fun, well those are a few things to describe me. I love to hang out with my family and friends. My favorite things to do is have sleepovers, watch movies, and play sports. At times I can be sarcastic and have an attitude, but I love to smile. I get really hyper sometimes and crazy especially when I start to laugh.I'm a kind and sweet girl, but sometimes you shouldn't be fooled by that. I'm also a very sassy girl. I always use my manners and I'm polite. I like to act crazy sometimes. Usually I act like that around my brothers and friends.I always get hyper around them and crazy. I love being around them, they are really funny and nice people.

I enjoy doing some outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking. I have gone parasailing twice before, and it was such a thrill. Although my favorite adventurous thing I’ve done was when I went zip-lining over a river this past April in Florida. It was the most exciting thing I have ever done and I loved it. I also would like to go skydiving and scuba diving. I am compassionate; I put lots of hours into fundraising events for a scholarship fund in honor of a close friend of mine that passed away almost three years ago. We organize clothing drives, golf outings, baked good sales and t-shirt sales. My last character trait that comes to my mind is neat. My room, car and my clothes are always clean and tidy. My schoolwork is very organized and color coded. Also, my closet is organized by color. I can’t stand when things are cluttered and messy. It also irritates me when dirty dishes are lying

You could ask me to write about my best friends and I would be able to comprise a fair essay about them, but ask me to write an essay about myself, that’s where it gets difficult for me. So to assist me in describing my personality I will use my Greek and Chinese zodiac descriptions. I think that both of these signs matches my personality. Even though I think that horoscopes are useful l, I’m not the kind of person that would check my daily horoscope in fear that if I don’t I’ll die or something. It’s just something that I enjoy reading.

When I was little, I really didn’t know what astrology was or what your zodiac sign was. When I was growing up, I finally figured out what it all meant and how it worked. From that point on I was instantly clicked. I loved reading my horoscope and when ever I did read it, nine out of ten times it would be right, and that’s why I loved reading my horoscope. It was just something I did every morning, and then I would go throughout my day. Then at night when I would be back on the computer, i would reread them, and realize that most of the time those things did happen, or I did feel that type of emotion.
