The legendary amusement park Six Flags New England is situated in Western Massachusetts in the city of Agawam, Massachusetts, and has been running since 1870. During this time, it was originally an ordinary picnic with a cluster of trees named Gallup’s Grove. Subsequently, the park replaced its name with Riverside, and has had its name of Riverside for the majority of the entire period of the 1900s. One famous event, known as The 1929 Wall Street Crash, then had an unfortunate effect on the amusement park, and as a result, the amusement park shut down in 1939 after countless efforts to reestablish the amusement park. After the Wall Street Crash, Edward Carroll Senior made history when made an investment and paid for the amusement park, and developed the amusement park into a notable success in New England. After a century of the amusement park being known as Riverside, it then changed its name to Six Flags New England in 2000. This amusement park has various rides with a maximum amount of thrill which have customers at the edge of their seats, less thrilling rides which are excellent for just sitting back and enjoying themselves without all the maximized thrill, eating, entertainment, and shopping for relaxing from all the exciting rides and taking it easy, and Hurricane Harbor to cool you off in the summer and Fright Fest to terrorize and startle you during Halloween.

What has become of parks in the United States has taken creativity and minimized its possibilities. A child’s advocate and architect, Lady Marjory Allen, commented her thoughts on what parks are like today. “Allen was disappointed by what she described in a documentary as “asphalt square” playgrounds with “a few pieces of mechanical equipment”(Rosin 4). When you describe parks as this it doesn’t sound fun at all, and certainly not to kids. Parks have been made to be all the same, the same swings, slides, etc.
The key issues include the location of Eisner’s envisioned historical theme park. The state of Virginia is deeply filled with many events marked in American history such as the homes of four of the first five U.S. presidents, in addition to being the site of more than two-dozen civil war battlefields. Another key issue was the commotion and traffic that this theme park would create. As visitors will travel from many places to visit Disney America, Disney would have to predict when the highway will be most at traffic while putting in mind that many residents of Virginia use this highway, knowing it is already very crowded most of
Six Flags contains rides for kids and adults. My family and I decided to go here. When we got to Six Flags, all you could hear were people screaming and yelling on the rides. That just made you want to go on the rides more. Some of the rides in Six Flags are Acrophobia, Batman, Dare Devil Dive, Georgia Cyclone, Georgia Scorcher, Goliath, Gotham City Crime Wave, Great American Scream Machine, and Mindbender. We went on only some of the rides, because the lines were very long and it was also very hot. We also went to Hurricane Harbor. It is located inside of Six Flags. Hurricane Harbor has a giant wave pool inside. It also has water slides that are closed. The waterslides are called Bonzai Pipelines. It also has something that is called the Tsunami Surge. In this water ride, you sit with three other people in a tube. This ride will spin you 360 degrees. Inside there is also the Paradise Island. The Paradise Island is a playground that has water blasters, climbing nets, and waterslides. If you are in the mood to get drenched, you can go under the enormous bucket of water and when it is full it tips all the way over leaving you all wet. It started to get late, so we decided to start heading to the parking lot. Overall, I had an amazing day at Six Flags over
Such as the super duper looper and toboggan. And from 1976 to 1986 it was smooth sailing. In 1986 they decided to rapidly add any rides resulting in 10 new rides. And from then on till 1996, they added more and more to make this one of the largest parks in the world at the time. In the year 200 they closed on buying the biggest roller coaster in america, known as “The Lightning racer”
The place I chose for the field trip proposal is Epcot theme park. I chose this place because of its diverse culture exhibits. Some reasons I picked this place are, they have many culture experience's, you can explore different culture in one day, and it a good place to taste the different foods and music across the world. It ties into humanity because it explores different countries that have impacted our society from the food to the music, to even our architecture. It also shows us the diverse countries and some of its history.

Direct competition to the center needs to be determined so marketing strategies can be implemented to differentiate the center from the competition. At first thought, the Carowinds Theme Park was not identified as a competitor but depending on which target market the center is trying to attract, it very well could be.
Louis each have an amusement park within their metropolitan areas. Six Flags, which refers to itself as “Missouri’s Coaster Capital,” is located in the St. Louis suburb of Eureka. Worlds of Fun, a very similar amusement park is located in Kansas City. Some may argue that Worlds of Fun is better than Six Flags, on account of its lower admission price. On the other hand, Six Flags features seventeen “thrill rides,” and claims to have the “fastest, tallest, wildest, gut-wrenchingest rides in the country-including a few record-breakers” (Sixflags.com).

During the course of the trial, one witness stated that “the majority” of Six Flags’ park employees were affiliated with one gang or another. Six Flags was well aware of this issue with gang related conflicts being a frequent line of discussion during park security briefings. As a result, Disney did not hesitate to invest a big sum of money for Euro Disney in Paris.
