"Revolver" is an album created beautifully by a few of my favorite artists known as The Beatles. As you should know the 70's was the time that "hippies" became a huge trend along with people starting to use acid a lot more, and I believe that The Beatles really stood out since their album was gladly released on August 5th, 1966; that was with the help of all members from the band taking LSD. A member from the band took a crazy risk for one single song, acid took on a negative and positive toll for all four of The Beatles, this is also the moment that Paul McCartney really came out with his first solo and different instruments introduced The Beatles to new ways of playing songs; overall the band together was just having so much fun making music magical to the ears of the groovy 70's folks, nothing was ever the same after their experience. …show more content…

Member of Manfred Mann, Klaus Voormann, designed the iconic cover for The Beatles that John Lennon questions about during an interview with Jann Wenner. "Revolver" their album cover title, does not refer to a gun it actually refers to a Ringo Starr pun coming to the conclusion that an album revolves like the revolver gun. I really enjoy how open and triggered to stand out they are with their art, that's why I think the album is beautiful. "Yellow Submarine" one of John Lennon's attempts to have his voice recorded underwater and have it in the song was one of the best things that ever happened. After sugar cubes infused with LSD were secretly put into John Lennon's coffee by a dentist John Riley, John started hallucinating and imagining a submarine. The drug made the group have disagreements and they went their separate ways for a while, but the drug also made a special connection with all four when they got back
