The Day After Christmas

After Christmas, Russ and I were scheduled to meet up with our RV group for New Years, at an RV park, located on the way back to Tucson, and celebrate. The day we left to meet up with them, Russ asked if I minded just driving home! That was the last time we used the RV. We didn't go away for our anniversary, as planned, despite the fact he had always wanted to go to Camp Pendleton's RV park, on the beach. In fact, the RV was sold by the end of February. Apparently, Russ realized what I'd been worried about the whole time—the driving, set up/tear down, and maintenance was tiring him out to the point of not being able to function. We had a great time. Even though Russ had had the laser angioplasty, in March, he needed to use one of the park's electric carts to get around. Once he rented it, he found out that he and his group could go to the front of the line, at all the attractions. We didn't have to use it often, but it was helpful when the lines were long and the boys and baby were cranky. Yes, the baby made it, and at three weeks old, spent two days walking Legoland, and one day walking around Balboa Park. It seemed like we did nothing, but eat the whole time we were there, but during those three days, we averaged six hours of walking per day, we didn't gain anything while we were there. The reason the baby was three weeks old, at Legoland, is she was born two weeks early! Natalia's OB had bailed, on her, in her 6th or 7th month, of the pregnancy! The OB didn't want to deliver any babies at the new Sierra Vista hospital. She wanted all her patients to go to Tucson! Apparently, the OB didn't think that the delivery protocols, at the new hospital, were safe enough, for her to delivery her patients!!! Makes you think about what is going on when you are forced to be in a hospital. I think you probably ran into that when you went to the second hospital, for your abulation. I've heard other people talking about changes in the way things are done. It usually happens when a hospital is bought out by a large medical
