Moving is very extremely difficult especially when you are saying goodbye to friends, you have become accustomed to since you were able to talk; but Sometimes It may turn out pleasant because you will meet people that you will become extremely close with; although you are abandoning your old friends . You can still Have some form of communication with them . It was 2 years ago , I was in the 7th grade . It was the beginning of middle school . I was starting to adapt to the transitions of classes , at lunch I would hang out with my friends that I have known for quite a while . One day I come home , Sitting down getting ready to start my math homework. When my mom looks at me and tells we are moving . I laughed but the look on her face was
I have moved to five different states throughout my life. The first few moves were easy because I was younger, but as I got older it became more and more difficult to say goodbye to friends and everything I knew. The most difficult move I experienced was right before my freshman year of high school. I had lived in Utah for seven years and I did not want to move to Idaho right before I started high school. I have never gone to Rexburg before we moved there. It is a smaller town with many people who have lived in Rexburg for most of their life. It was hard to fit in at school and become friends with people who had known each other their entire life. Finally after making the effort to meet many new people I felt like I fit in. I realize that students
Moving is hard for everyone, because you're leaving your friends and maybe some family. There are some good opportunities to make new friends and meet new people. You could also start over and maybe remove all the weight off your back if it's like drama, or maybe wondering if someone is going to like you. There is also an upside of seeing new things you maybe
It was less than a second, maybe half a second, but it changed everything. It was late at night after a soccer game. I was laying down in my room, coloring in a picture book, when my parents called me downstairs. After my sister and I walked downstairs, we were told to sit on the couch. Apparently my parents had something important to tell us, i didnt really realize what was going to happen because I was younger, so I sat on the couch smiling widely.
On the first day of the second year of fifth grade. It was horrible everyone new people from when they were in fourth grade . I felt all alone in a corner. I knew no one ,then the teacher comes up . She said " Hi I will be your teacher this year". I said " Hi I will be one of your students this year".
Moving far away from family and friends can be tough on a child at a young age. It has its pros and cons. One learns how to deal with moving away from the people they love and also learn how to deal with adjusting to new ways of life. Everything seems so different and at a young age one feels like they have just left the whole world behind them. That was an experience that changed my life as a person. It taught me how to deal with change and how to adjust. It developed me from a young boy into a mature young man.
One day about two weeks before summer vacation at the time I was in fifth grade. My mom comes to me younger sister in our bedroom with her looks at us with her bright hazel eyes. She told us something “We are moving girls we got to start packing we are going to be living with your Uncle and aunt for a while”. That wisent the first time she’s said this to us new home new school but for some reason this one scared me a little more. A few days later we began to pack and within a week’s time we were done.
Moving can also be a big part of someone’s life mainly because of the new people and possibly new best friends. Moving schools is also important because it changes how you are near people because you don’t know anyone there. You have to learn how to change and blend in with your new surroundings. But, it doesn’t have to be all negative because once you’ve changed and is use to your surroundings; you can make new friends and find new best friends. This has happened to me when I was in second grade and found best friends. When I moved, it took me off guard and I had to start becoming use to new people. I eventually did, and found new friends and best friends along the
The struggles for a kid moving into a new community and school is pretty harsh for example having to say goodbye to friends and family, having to make new friends, and having to get used to your new surroundings. Say good-bye to your friends is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do in life, you are saying goodbye to people who are your 2nd family, and they are used to you being weird and they don't judge you for being yourself. For example, you just move into your new community you don’t know anybody you just know you as the new kid on the block sometimes the kids in your neighborhood who is Outgoing and will talk to you, on the other hand, you have no one who will talk to you. Getting used to your surroundings is tough too.
I was in my room when my mom said “after you finish your lessons in school we can go shopping at Forever 21”. So I did all my school work then we took a ride to Bremerton. First we went to Bath and Body Works, we both got body spray and my mom got lotion. After that we went to H & M and I got a green bomber coat and a couple of shirts. We went to check out and my mom asked the lady if she knew where we could find Forever 21. She gave us the directions so we went off to find it.
My mother ranted all morning about how I was irresponsible for leaving my car at the grocery store and how she wasn't getting me a new one and blah blah blah I was thankful when breakfast was finally over and she had to leave for work leaving me with no means of transportation. Thanks mom.
Moving doesn't only effect you and your family. Other people need to know that you're moving as well. Don't forget to tell the post office that you're moving, otherwise, you won't be getting your mail! If you're moving a long distance away, you should also get medical records, and school transcripts at the same time that you're notifying the doctors and schools of your move.
Moving is the start of something new and you can set new and considerable goals for your school year. Each day goes by and it's another day that you can be a better person in your wonderful community. It's good to try new things for the first time to be able to be happier, create new life goals, etc. In the article, "How to prepare to move schools" it states, "Most kids feel special about moving and is a worthwhile experience for anyone, preferably a child in a new environment." This states that most kids like moving schools because it makes them feel special. There are reasons a child might not want to move schools but in the end their mind will reverse around and they'd be grateful
In September of 2012, I was in grade 10 at the time, I was with a bunch of friends. My friends and I were talking, having a
