The Locket Analysis

My feelings on the conclusion of "The Locket" is confusion. The constant changing of topic made it hard to figure out what was happening. Since the author of the story keeps switching perspectives, your original idea gets cluttered and has to be changed. The point of view changed from Edmond, to a vulture, to Octavie. Why was Octavie wearing full back, for it to be such a beautiful day outside. Later on, she feels sad for missing Edmond as much as Edmond does her. At the very end, she pulls out her locket and looks at Edmond. Only thing he can say is that it was stolen and he was wondering about the man who said
