How many people can be thought of that have gone through extreme challenges to get what they want? Their ambition to want something can often cloud their judgment. Yet it is all a part of humans achieving their state of nature. In the beginning of the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare the main character Macbeth had no intensions of being evil yet when more power was given to him he was influenced into doing bad and wanting all the power by forcing fate. The play Macbeth, explores human nature, in particular the ambition of the main character Macbeth. Macbeth makes every decision based upon ambitions to become king. He was so focused on his ambition that he loses his judgement and his way to look at things in a more clear perspective. Not until the prophecies of the witches are told to Macbeth wake his evil intentions. And created a greater evil like ambition of becoming king. …show more content…

He fears the prophecies told to him at first , then thinks about killing the king of Scotland or to see if the prophecies the which told him will come to play themselves. Listening to these prophecies Macbeth is astonished that he could take the position of a king that is yet still alive at this point. Macbeth would be going against human nature if he where to kill the king of Scotland so he could become king , instead of letting the course of nature take things on its own instead of having to force fate. Macbeth forces fate and tries to change the prophecy given to Banquo that in the future someone in his blood line will take over the thrown. At that point Macbeth plots to kill Banquo and his son Fleance leaving no reminding heirs. This shows Macbeth going against the nature of man.
