The attitudes of both black and whites individuals are certainly not unfamiliar as, the said parties caused great conflicted during early twentieth century. When the Northern states and Republican Party “nursed” the black community, Southern became furious which lead the Civil War. Ultimately, the North won and also gain the black favor. This essay is to illustrate the views of three famous authors, who all manipulated the thoughts of Americas, during and after the “Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895”. As mentioned above, the conflict of Washington wellness to accept segregation and DuBois abolishment of it, had little or more to do with Grady’s ideas. However, it is agreeable that both blacks authors stressed on, some extent of education, which are excessive nonviable considering Grady’s statements. When the freemen were freed, they lost their shelters, encounter much difficulties and also being misled by the Republicans, according to Grady, who elaborate that blacks are taken care of by whites, and that both race want segregation. Conversely, he failed to release that with segregation, the economic finances would be harmed, and the black nation don’t need white to help them get by, because they have gone through enough of being controlled and told what they must do. His devotion on “saving” the South, would unnecessary lead to slavery one more
Lastly, it is a bit confusing to choose between Booker T. Washington and WEB DuBois because both authors’ theories are a bit displeasing. Though both circled education, DuBois proceeded Washington’s idea a bit further. At the time DuBois goals were too weary, as it only served the black minority, middle class and would ultimately damage the further generation. These two individual should have considered working together instead of debating the issue of black
