Poor adaptation to a LTCF may cause depression, malnutrition and significantly reduce the lifespan of the elder. Thus, it is imperative, that nurse’s recognize this promptly.

In today’s world Gerontology has an enormous role to play so that the senior citizens could be analyzed and their needs may be addressed with compassion and empathy.

Because of these analyzed costs, a facility’s financial planner can easily establish residential rates to cover basic living needs, possible increased healthcare requirements, and the sustainment of the business. Many vigorous steps of financial planning should be done from all parties involved in any long-term agreement in order to consider the time value of money in regards to futuristic costs and benefits.
