In the play Macbeth the three witches managed to change the future to what they had predicted. Other types of fantasy also played a role in making the tragic ending. These sorts of witchcraft or in other words magic made the play what it is and conveyed character such as Macbeth to do and think of certain things.
The witches played a huge role in the story of Macbeth and made him become who he ends up as. Macbeth was a very honorable knight that served king Duncan till his last breath. He did not have any distinguishing aspirations or greed. The three witches interfere in this with their so called prophecies that would soon lead the unknowing Macbeth to his future demise. The dagger that Macbeth saw before wondering weather to kill Duncan or not became his hope that made him commit the deed. Macbeth was struggling to understand if he could kill the king so that he could become king himself. At the time of confliction a ghostly dagger appeared before him. This dagger was made into his hope and his reason to kill Duncan. He used this unreal delusion as his backup that would get him to commit Duncan's murder. Another example of delusional fantasy messing with Macbeth was the undead so called ghost of Banquo. After Macbeth had ordered the assassination of his friend in order to preserve his role of king Macbeth had clearly suffered from massive amounts of guild. This guild that was hidden deep inside of him made him see a delusional image of a bloody Banquo. This made the calm Macbeth lose his cool and make the other people of his castle wonder if he had killed Banquo. These acts of insanity from seeing unreal objects and people led macbeth to commit murder and ruin his own image of a worthy king. This is relatable to a person mistaking a mirage to be real. In desserts people arse so overcome with dehydration that they crave water to the point that the think a mirage is real. This is very relatable to Macbeth seeing how his real personality always makes him do things that are not meant to happen. The fake dagger ment that deep inside him he wanted to kill

laugh to scorn / The power of man, for none born of woman / Shall harm Macbeth."
The witches play an important role they have the ability to predict the future and affect it too. Without their warnings and predictions Macbeth wouldn’t have chosen to act in the way he did. In their second appearance they prophesize that that he cannot be harmed by no one born of woman, a child with a crown represents Malcolm, and he’s warned about the moving Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane Hill. “But yet I’ll make assurance double sure, and take a bond of fate” (4.1.83-84).
One way witchcraft is displayed in the play are the prophecies made by the witches. “All hail, Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor! All hail Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!” (Mac 1.3.49-50). In this quote, the witches are telling Macbeth his future. At first, Macbeth did not completely believe in the witches’ words, but after the first prediction comes true, he decided to trust them. After Macbeth and Banquo, his best friend, meet the witches, Rosse, a Scottish nobleman, found Macbeth and told him about his achievement. “He bade me, from him, call the Thane of Cawdor; In which addition, hail, most worthy thane, For it is thine” (Mac 1.3.105-107). This helped Macbeth put his belief in the prophecies because two of the three predictions are now true. His faith in witchcraft played a role in his decisions and actions later in the play.
Ambition plays a large role in this tragedy. Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth have a very srtong ambition that drives them. Lady Macbeth's ambition drives her to manipulate Macbeth into committing murder. Macbeth's aggressive ambition is present before the witch's
Macbeth is totally enrapt with the idea that he may become King of all Scotland. Herein lies the blame for the witches. If they had not given the prophecy to Macbeth, he would not have wanted to become King. Before the witching encounter, he was perfectly happy with his current life. Thane of Glamis, a good wife, great battles to behold. One word from the witches, and *bam*, he's caught. He instantly has higher thoughts of himself. He looks at the greater glories which he supposedly could behold. So, the blame can be laid on the witches. If it was not for their prophecy concerning Macbeth's good fortune, Macbeth would never have fallen.
In Macbeth, the witches use foreshadowing, characterization, and the characters in Macbeth use allusions. The witches play a large part in the play. They lead Macbeth to kill the king, and they lead to his demise. They are the main factor that moves the play along as well as help Macbeth use his tragic flaw of overconfidence. Macbeth believes everything that the witches tell him and he does not think for one moment that the witches might be telling him something else that would be hidden in the predictions. They were the reason that Macbeth decided to kill the king, and the reason why he was so paranoid with everyone. He killed his best friend all because the witches told him that Banquo will be father to a line of kings. Macbeth went on and
In William Shakespeare's Macbeth, the main character, Macbeth, is a brave and loyal subject to the King of Scotland, but as the play progresses, his character begins to change drastically. Evil and unnatural powers, as well as his own passion to become king, take over his better half and eventually lead to his downfall. The three main factors that intertwine with one another that contribute to Macbeth's tragic end are the prophecies told by the three witches, Lady Macbeth's influence, and finally, Macbeth's excessive passion and ambition which drove his desire to become king to the utmost extreme. The prophecy told by the three witches was what triggers the other factors that contribute to Macbeth s downfall. In the first act, the witches

The three supernatural elements used in the play Macbeth that motivate
The witches played an undoubtedly large role in MacBeth, being the instigators of the entire plot. In act one scene three, the witches say: `all hail, MacBeth! Hail to thee, thane of cawdor! ... All hail, MacBeth, that shalt be king hereafter!' (Line 47-50) these prophecies
In Macbeth, one of the most tragic and well known plays, William Shakespeare changes women’s part in society. During this time period, women are known to be both mentally and physically weaker than men. Women are called to be only housewives. Shakespeare reflected the image of women in society by giving the men bigger leads in his plays. Only in a few of Shakespeare's plays did he give women strong leading roles. In any action or event, there are a multitude of things which cause it. When a fire is lit, it starts with a spark, then travels to the tinder, then the kindling, eventually getting to the fuel, or in the case of a forest fire, the forest. Enter Macbeth, by William Shakespeare. In Macbeth, things go terribly wrong, and few would disagree that the witches play the role of the spark, and Macbeth either kindling or fuel, but what role Lady Macbeth plays is a bit more disputed. Due to the time and place the play is set in, it is expected that she would be running the affairs of the household, and working quietly around her husband, thus not being part of this metaphorical fire at all. However, she is not like that: She is a Macbeth, and Macbeths
