Now it was my turn so i layed down and set up my rifle and began to sweep the area with my scope. As the squads repelled out one by one. Once everyone was out i then packed up and grasped the rope firmly with my gloves, i wrapped the rope around my leg and began to descend. Once my feet hit the ground i tugged on the rope and it fell from the helo. John then he began to bark orders “stack on me, begin to climb” he shouted. We began up the spiral staircase, every step with a loud creak from the wood. Once we reached the top of
The Sniper exhibits qualities that are both experienced and amateur. O’Flaherty describes the Sniper as “a man who is used to looking at death”, from which we can infer that the sniper has seen many deaths, since a person who is exposed frequently to death gradually grows senseless to it. In the passage, “There was a flash and a bullet whizzed over his head. He dropped immediately.”, we can tell from the “dropped

General Magnus had promoted Lt Layton to full Colonel and made him his new Executive Officer/ the other one had been killed by a sniper a week earlier. General Magnus knew it was those SF bastards because the round was a .50 Caliber and had to have been fired from an M107 possibly a mile or so away. It gave everyone pause, thinking now that every single senior officer was a target. What they didn’t know was that it was one of the 28th ID scout platoons that took the shot. Some of them had gone to

We had to move around quick and fire at will to get out of there. We had to do what we could and we decided to keep the house as our harpoint and fire at will. We saw 3 enemies in the tower across and decided those were our targets. My partners decided to take them out while i prepared grenades to start the mission. They had the 3 soldiers in their sights then our captain said “fire”. In a blink of an eye 3 were down and now all the enemies were looking around frantically looking at where the shots came from. The sniper in the left side building saw us as yelled at everyone letting them know where we were. I took some grenades and started throwing them at other houses and under towers to take them down. There was chaos everywhere and gunshots all around us. We were all going to the second floor to get a vantage point when our new soldier went into shock with everything that was happening. He froze and stayed down there without us knowing. We were so into the gunshots and bombs going off that we didn't realize he stayed down there. I rushed down to save him and bring him up. I ran as fast as i could but i was too late, i was in socl that i couldn't rescue my fellow

There you are. You’re hiding behind a hastily constructed bunker made to protect yourself from enemy fire. You can hear the enemy firing on your position, and you can feel the shots screaming above your head. The firing ceases for a moment. You pop out, fire off a few rounds, and duck back in; but as you are going back in the shots start up again, and you feel the rounds whizzing past your head and ear. One catches your sleeve. You glance down. No damage. Suddenly you have a fellow fighter there in your bunker with you. He tells you he’s going to try to take the enemy bunker out. Before you can stop him, he charges out of the bunker, gun blazing. A burst of fire, and a cry. You glance out, and see that your teammate
