I am typing this paper over Michelangelo, one of the most famous artist ever! He had one of the greatest paintings called The Sixteen Chapels. I am going to tell you about the life he went through. Michelangelo was born on March 6, 1475 in Caprease, Italy. His father is Leonardo Di Buonarrota Simoni.

From the 14th century to the 17th century the Renaissance took place and was consider the cultural bridge that connect the middle ages to modern history. During this time many spectacular things took place. Artwork was created that looked as though it were from the heavens. Sculptures were generated that looked as an angel had sculpted the masterpiece. The architecture that took place looked as though it were created from the 19th century. Many architects, artist, and sculptures were present during the Renaissance, but there was one person that stood out the most. After the death of King Saul, David became the King of the Hebrew people. David, who was meek and pious, steadfastly believed in the true God and tried to do His will. He had endured much persecution from Saul and other enemies but did not become bitter, did not lift his hand against Saul, as he was the Lord’s anointed, but placed all his hope in God, and the Lord delivered him from all his enemies.

Michelangelo Buonarroti is a very well known artist from Italy and is know all over the world. He was more than just a painter he was a poet, sculptor, and architect. Michelangelo was born on March 6, 1475 to Francesca Neri and Leonardo di Buonarrota Simoni in Caprese, Italy. His family was in the banking business, he was born to the Florentine family of burgher nobility. Early in Michelangelo's life his mother became ill and he was places with a family of stonecutters. He loved going to a local church and watching the painters paint and drawing what he saw, that's where he grew his interest in painting. Michelangelo's friend from grammar school Francesco Granacci introduced him to a painter named Domenico Ghirlandaio.

The character of David has been the inspiration for many works of art throughout history. The young David, armed with only a sling, defeated the gigantic warrior, Goliath, and became the hero of the human people. This story became very popular during the Italian Renaissance, the period of 14th-16th centuries. During the Italian Renaissance, Florence was under constant change and turmoil however David remained the people with faith for the people. Many other artists have expressed their own depictions of the young boy but two stand out among all. Donatello and Michelangelo both created masterpieces on the biblical subject although the approaches of each artist were completely different in some ways this caused unique reactions.
