Women have been treated wrongly for many years and have been given very few rights in America since the early 1800s. As seen in the novel “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck, we are given an introduction of a male character and then a brief and quite harsh introduction to his wife. We are never given a name of her because she is seen and thought as a possession to all the male characters presented in the book.Women in the early 1900s had very few rights and had to fight for the equal amount they should have for years.Women should have just as many rights as men because they are equally smart and can work just as hard as men.

Within the novel Curley's wife is treated like a possession or a “whore” rather than a women. Women back in the early 1900’s were treated very badly or were judged by their looks and not by their intelligence.In the novel Curlys wife is called things like “tart” and “purty” or even “jailbait”, which for a women is very disrespectful.A womens intelligence is not defined by their looks but as seen within the novel “Of Mice and Men” it is stated …show more content…

They have facts and lots of support from other women.They have very few women in politics there but is there is women in office then it's of islamic value. These women are smart to be revolting and trying to get involved with the government.
Life in Egypt for women is very hard and is proven to be one of the worst country for women to live in.They have to fight for their rights before they are all taken away. Women don't have to be physically strong, but being mentally strong is a sure way for men and women to be equal.If a women can think just as hard and can take the mental abuse of men with derogatory comments about them, then they should be treated equally.Women are mentally strong if they are not physically
