Athena was the most courageous, wise, and the resourceful of the Olympian gods. Athena was the favorite daughter of Zeus. Athena’s dominion was Athens, as she beat out Poseidon to be the patron of the city. Athena was most well-known for her prestigious war strategies and for giving heroes courage. Athena is the goddess of wisdom, warfare, and crafts. She was one of the most powerful of the 12 Olympian gods. Athena served as the guardian of Athens, and the Parthenon was her temple.
Athena is the favorite daughter of Zeus and her birth was unique, as she does not have a mother (Greek Mythology).
