Why Soccer Is Important To Me

Soccer is my passion because it has given me so many opportunities in life and I have most of my best memories from playing soccer. Ever since I was young years old soccer has been my number one sport, I have played other sports like basketball, softball, volleyball and tennis but soccer has been the main one that has stuck with me. Soccer has benefited my life in so many ways it has helped me stay in shape, meet new people, go to places I have never been before, taught me how to be a great leader, improved my reaction skills and fastened my decision making skills in tough situations. Just as it’s important to learn how to lead others, it’s also incredibly important that players learn how to be lead by others. Being a follower gave me a chance to experience outside of my box. When I initiated my soccer career, my life as a follower had begun.

One club season I would get piercing shin guard burns. I tried creams, shin guard covers, ice, new shin guards, everything! Nothing would help from the blistering, peeling burns on my shins. Any time I would shift leg positions it felt like bees were stinging my shins. This happened the whole season until I found that if I applied lotion before the game then put shin guard covers underneath my shin guards the blistering would cease. The burns, cuts, bruises, aches and pain were always worth it to play the sport I loved.

The sport of soccer was what motivated me to do better in everything I did. I had played every position on the field except for one up until high school when everything changed; our keeper had quit and the only person we had left was incredibly untalented. I come from an athletic family who enjoys playing together. Although I played all these sports, as I entered high school I left some behind and decided to focus mainly on soccer. I have played soccer my whole life and I have nothing but love of the game. I consider myself to be a good team player and a hard worker. Soccer was a big part of my life and made me extremely happy.

Well, I love soccer, and it is a big part in my life. Soccer has intrigued me since I was five, and I don't think I will ever stop enjoying it. If I could wake up tomorrow and have one ability or quality it would be being at soccer.I would want to be good at soccer because I like playing soccer but I'm not really good at it.I want to learn more about soccer because I don't know much about soccer.For me soccer is a good sport to do exercise.You can lose wait by playing soccer.I also would like to be good at soccer because I just like how they play it.I think soccer is a good sport to play to have fun.Soccer is what I want to be good in because its fun and to play.I like to be kicking the ball.

Throughout my entire life, soccer has influenced me greatly. In fact, my childhood can be described as watching my siblings play soccer. Rain or shine, no matter the distance, no matter how much I didn’t want to go, I was still there to support them. All four of us made sacrifices to support each other. This made our family more close knit.

I chose to present this topic because it is a big part of my life and I want to share how soccer can benefit someone. Soccer is a huge part of my culture being borned in a hispanic family and has made an impact throughout my whole life. Soccer is what brings my family together after a long week of work. The has helped me both physically and mentally throughout my whole life. I had no interest in soccer before i was 7.Then my father insisted me on giving it a chance. I enjoyed the sport as a whole. As a child i was overweight and playing made me lose weight and made me healthier. Up to now i have made lot of friends who also like soccer. I can rely on soccer to relieve me of stress and to kill time whether it be watching it on tv, practice

Around the world, soccer is the most beloved sport ever. Many diverse peoples love this sport and truly enjoy watching it, but some people wonder how it got so popular. Well, soccer is favored by so many due to its unique complexity, high physicality, and soccer community. First, soccer has a unique complexity that combines elements from all kinds of sports. Like football and baseball, soccer has a high player count with eleven players on each team in addition to all of the substitutes.

Every day I bring the same few things with me. I do not carry my entire life, but everything I do carry is basically a part of me. Without one piece, I feel incomplete and naked. I carry my wallet in my back pocket every day. I would describe it as my identity even though it only weighs under half of a pound. It holds my money and debit card which dictates almost all of my actions. It holds my ID and driver’s license which shows all of the attributes of myself and allows me to drive around in my car legally. Although, I could not drive without my keys. My keys stand as a symbol of my transportation as well as my home. My key ring holds the key to my house and also the key to unlock and start my car. It weighs around only 6 ounces, but the importance it has in my life is immense.

I was raised by a big soccer family either my father, mother, uncles cousins, they were all into soccer. The first gift I asked for was a ball. My father and I used to play soccer when I was just a kid, I become in love with the game. I used t stay all night when I was a kid to see a soccer match, but my father and my mother wont let me to stay because I have school, and I used to cry just the game. Even if I feel a sleep during the game, I would woke up and see the match again.

For my memoir I would like to talk about the time I learned to play sports and the impact it had on my life. It all started when I was 8 or 9 years old. My dad asked me to come outside to play. It was a tough decision for me because i was playing inside my favorite video game (which was Wii sports ) . He said that I was spending too much time inside playing Wii and I should exercise and play a sport for once.

Why Soccer is so special to me, I think because it’s the first hobby that I learned and it summaries my childhood. Also there are more reason, it give you a hope to reach your target, it teach you to fight until the end, and teach to do not give up .Soccer taught me that I

All around me I could hear what people were saying and majority of my soccer teammates were talking about me, yet they could not know I could hear them. My heart sinks when they call me big ears grant and I always get depressed but at this moment I am used to it.
