Aren't you tired of testing? Don't you feel like it's too much already with homework, classwork, and projects? Personally, I would say that homework, classwork, and projects should be enough for CMS to see whether or not they should go on to the next level. Schoolwork is enough stress for students. Testing is just a bonus on top of that. Especially since teachers instead of teaching in class for students education they are teaching to the test. Testing should be banned for students in all grade levels because it's enough homework, projects, and classwork, tests are unfair and tests don't define who students are nor do they improve students education.

English isn't their first language but they are in the process of learning it. These tests aren't always provided in Spanish or any other language other than English. “ESL students have a hard time with standardized tests, and that hurts their school's overall scores”(US News). Students take these tests but they don't understand ¾ of the material they are being tested in. It affects their grades and opportunities of being successful later on in life. Think about you being tested and being labeled as a dumb, neutral or smart person. Think back to segregation times, it's similar to this but this is just by a taking a test. You're being tested and being labeled to be put in a class just because of your test scores, which will make you feel different. “Measuring intelligence through examination will not identify many of those we instinctively know to be intelligent”(Telegraph). Testing isn't about seeing where you should be put in for class. Everyone has a different type of testing skills. I believe that testing is just like bringing back segregation.
