Most wigwams were curved to hold up against harsh weather. Young tree saplings were cut about 10 to 15 feet long and bent by stretching the wood to make an arch. A circle was then drawn on the ground (between 10 to 16 ft in diameter) and the bent saplings were placed over the circle. The tallest sapling is in the middle and the shorter ones were on the outside. After all the saplings are made into arches around the circle, the next set of saplings was used to wrap around the wigwam to make it strong and give it shape. The roof and sides are placed on after all the saplings are tied together. Using bark strips, the wigwam is covered and should repel most bad weather. The longhouses were permanent. Just like most wigwams, however wigwams were

Gary Ridgway was born in salt lake city, Utah as the second of three sons to his parents Mary and Thomas Ridgway. He grew up in an abusive household with a domineering mother who would bully him and belittle him for wetting the bed into his teenage years, and a father who would tell him stories about necrophiliac acts his co workers would commit at his job as a mortician. His school life wasn't that great either. He had an IQ of 82 which caused him to repeat two grades. No one really remembered him. He was the kind of kid that faded into the background and the unnoticed one in school photos. He played football in high school but none of his coaches could even remember what position he played. He was the type of kid who didn’t really stand out. Many of his classmates remembered him as a nice guy, but pretty average. But this was only the side he wanted them to see. Behind the scenes he was a boy who had feeling of anger and sexual attraction towards his mother, and a boy who lead a six-year-old boy to the woods and attempted to murder him when he was only 16. The boy survived and said he remembered Ridgeway walking away laughing and saying “i always wondered what it would be like to kill someone."

Since its establishing in 1837, Muskingum has been a group of learners - individuals gaining from and with other individuals. Muskingum's main goal is to teach the "entire individual" - mentally, profoundly, socially and physically - and it does as such by meeting understudies where they are on the instructive continuum, and by helping these understudies to advance to their most extreme potential.
England has a long history of periodic architecture and aside from recent war damage and the destruction during the Dissolution of the Monasteries Acts in the 16th century by Henry VIII, much of its historic legacy remains intact.

The Holocaust is looked at in lots of different ways, but in Whitwell,Tennessee the middle schoolers looked into the Holocaust in a very unique way. The small town of Whitwell, only containing a total of 1,600 people only having five African Americans and one mexican. It may have come off as a racial town when really, they were a very tight knit community. The project started when the students had no idea what six million looked like. The students decided to collect paperclips, they were easy to collect and also had a meaning to the Holocaust. The paper clip was made in Norway, the Norwegians wore the paper clip as a symbol of all the people in the Holocaust, because they were not able to speak out against the Holocaust. At first, the project

The Prairie Meadows Scholarship will help me to pursue an education at the University of Iowa. With the money given I would use it to earn a degree in engineering or a degree dealing something with the law. My favorite subjects in High School were math and science. My whole life math has always come easy to me and for some odd reason I have a passion for math. During my Junior year of High School I took my second physics class and gained an interest in physics. Besides math and science, when I was a young boy I always dreamed of becoming a police detective, I used to run around the house pretending I was getting all of the “bad guys”. Now a days I also find being a lawyer fun and intriguing. I plan on earning my degree and graduation college.
One upon a time in a land far, far, away, a baby was found on a shack and was adopted, her name was Friedchickeniqua. Her adoptive mom, Amy, wanted her daughter to be unique so she named her after her favorite food, you guessed it, fried chicken. She was very small, chubby, and bald, Friedchickeniqua wasn’t like the other girls either, at the age of 4 she already knew the periodic table. By the time she was 9 her beloved parents have discovered that their baby girl was indeed a “whappot”, a whappot is a magical creature that is half leprechaun, and half witch. She was enrolled in the “Whappot School for Girls” she took the certified Whappot test, she passed with flying colors, she was very small, 2’1, very chubby, 750 pounds, and she was very
Jane was born as Honora Kelley and grew up without a mother and with an alcoholic father.
