    In the book Of Mice and Men the story could be considered an allegory. The reason it’s an allegory is because of the characters and what they mean. There is at least four different types of meanings in this story. One is the ranch, the meaning I got from the book about the ranch is that it is a lot like society. It has all different sorts of people in it. It has Handicapped, the segregated and has the hard working, and the overpowered. In this book Crooks would be considered the segregated one.
