The Mighty overall was a very good film. It was cute, sad and funny, and the film had a good message. It was almost as good as the book, but the book had more detail than the movie. I enjoyed the the images in my head from reading the book become pictures. My first impression was that the movie wasn't going to be good at all, although it was better than I expected. Seeing Freak die in a movie almost made me cry, and when it happened in the book I really wasn’t sad at all. I really enjoyed the film

I am comparing The mighty to Freak the mighty. The movie and the book are a lot different. For example. In the book the episode when freak dies is a lot different from the book. When freak dies in the book he doesn’t die at his house he dies in the hospital. And in the book he dies at the hospital and the doctor talks to Maxwell. When they are at the fair and Blade runs after Maxwell and Kevin they don’t get caught by the police. And In the book they do run away from blade but there are not police
