Prejudice is a hostile or negative attitude toward people in a distinguishable group. We can all be affected by prejudice for the things that make us different from one another. Our brain naturally puts people into different categories, and the differences can influence our preference of them. When we put people in different categories, we often make assumptions about these categories based off of their differences. Schemas are a mental shortcut that allows us to think about something faster. As
