Years prior to September 11, 2001 many government officials are believed to have proposed plans to take twin the twin towers in New York City. Whether this is true or not many people from government officials to architects around the world are saying that 911 was a planned attack on U.S soil. They base this off of research and video evidence of the twin towers falling.

September 11, 2001 is a day that will forever be remembered by all Americans; it was the day in which 2,823 people were killed due to the terrorist attacks performed by the terrorist group Al-Qaeda. Up to this day there are many people who do not know all the facts about this day and do not even know the number of plane crashes that occurred due to Al-Qaeda’s terrorist plans. Al-Qaeda is a terrorist organization that was started by Osama Bin Laden. This terrorist group is a racist organization whose philosophy is described as centralization of decision and decentralization of execution. This week we mark the 14th anniversary of one of the worst days in American history -- the day we have come to know by two numbers: 9/11.

Nearly (BE #4). every person that was old enough to comprehend what happened on September 11, 2001 remembers exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard about the attacks. September 11, 2001 was one of the most tragic days in U.S. history and has impacted the country ever since.

On September 11, 2001, the terror attacks that struck upon the American people etched a wound so deep that will take years to repair. The whole world watched and mourned as 2,977 innocent lives were taken mercilessly away by the clutches of vile people. The group responsible for these attacks had malicious intent and animosity toward the people of the free world. They took their accumulated hatred and attacked the American people. The way the American people responded was not what the terrorist group had expected.Instead of cowering in fear from the attacks as presumed, the American people began to display more patriotism and exhibit a sense of unity. While 9/11 is a day we remember the innocent lives lost to terrorism and the new sense of togetherness it founded, it is also a day that birth the term Islamophobia and gave rise to mistaken-identity hate crimes.

Law enforcement has the authority to listening in on any electronic communications with little overlooking. This means that they can get access to wiretaps, sneak and peek warrants among other provisions. The full name of the law is the "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001”. So this act fights terrorism it also gives the federal government tools to deal with suspected terrorist activity. Since 9/11, all political leaders have sought new ways to address terrorism.

As the 9/11 attacks were happening millions of people’s eyes couldn't leave the t.v. screens they all thought only that it couldn’t be real. The assistant fire chief was talking with his men after he had his coffee when what he thought was a t.v. show came on but soon found out the terrorists hijacked a plane and crashed it. Many of the first responders were busy treating smoke inhalation when the first plane struck its target, but many others waited for their broken bones and bad burns to be treated. The emergency responders do these things every day, protect other people from getting hurt by these types of things.the noises around them was the hardest things to see happen what he heard was pain and death.

After the 15th anniversary of 9/11, America comes together to commemorate those we have lost and the sadness and tragedy that comes along with that day. A common phrase that comes along with 9/11 is that it is a day that has changed our lives forever. But what exactly has changed?

On September 11 2001 Kristen Marcinko was at the RACC college at an federal army building in reading . The 9/11 attack was in New York City and it was a federal attack and since my mom was working in a federal building they had to evacuate because they had a chance of getting attacked.

In the attacks of 9/11, nearly 3,000 people died and this was mainly because of how easy it was to use airplanes for terrorist attacks. 9/11 security has changed drastically because of this. The terrorist attacks of 9/11 was when terrorist hijacked four planes going into four important buildings. Lucky enough, it only hit three. A big reason for this was post 9/11 security and how unsafe it was. Overall, 9/11 helped airport security and improved it.

The England international star had been robbed by armed burglars while he was enjoying a night at his Manchester home with his young family. The couple had been left traumatized since then.

My Opinion for the 9/11 is that it was a deliberate act of terrorism done by Al Qaeda. It was a deliberate act of terrorism done by Al Qaeda. It has killed over 3000 people and affected much more. To say that the US had done is pure madness. Why would the U.S. government do such a thing? To conquer Afghanistan for its riches? Very unlikely. The 9/11 killed over 3000 people. The government would never kill so many people for a slight chance at earning a lot of money. Was the collapse even scientifically possible? Now, let's look into this a little deeper…..

On September 11, 2001, an Islamic terrorist group, known as Al-Queda, hijacked four American airplanes and attempted to crash them into important United States landmarks, such as the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the White House. Unfortunately, the hijackers succeeded at The Pentagon and World Trade Center. Nearly three thousand people lost their lives because of these attacks. Sixteen years later, people still remember it as one of the most tragic events in US history. On this day, the most massive terrorist attack to ever happen on American soil occurred, yet the after effects of 9/11 are even larger; because of 9/11, the United States has developed safer air travel and immigration policies, but unfortunately, innocent Islamic people suffered and are still suffering from hate crimes.

One factor that contributed to the September 11 attacks is the long history of unrest between America and the Middle East. The USS Cole Bombings were basically just a warm up for Al-Qaeda to see how much they could do to the US. On October 2nd, 2000, in a port off of Yemen, suicide bombers boarded the USS Cole and blew a hole in the hull. The bombers killed 17 men. When the United States pulled from Lebanon in 1983 and their withdraw from Somalia in 1993 shocked the world but Bin Laden saw the attack and retreats in a totally different light. According to “The National Interest” Bin Laden said America was a “paper tiger” (24). He meant that as a country we look very strong and tough, but when the actual fighting starts, we will fall within a few attacks and be defeated.
