The ground shook. Tables were falling over, glass shattering all over the floor. Worried faces were shared among the crowd of children. Then, the world went black. I awoke with the sound of beeps in the distance. My eyes fluttered, eyelashes blocking my small spot of a view. In the corner, I could see my mom, her head in her hands, shaking slowly from tears. I gradually moved my head to the left. The room was bright, with white floors and bleached walls. There were multiple carts full of medical supplies right next to me. While scanning the room, I could hear my mother gasp and run out of the door. Moments later, a tall lanky guy walked into in the room. He was wearing scrubs with little stars and a light blue stethoscope was dangling from …show more content…
She was taking control of my emotions. But how? We sat on the damp dirt floor, the sweet soil sinking into my hospital robe. I could smell fresh flowers, the sweetness making me hungry. “When can I eat?” I asked, “more importantly, when can I change?” She looked at me, her brown eyes sparkled as bright as the sun, her brown hair flowing in the breeze. “Soon,” she murmured. She turned back around, and howled. Howled so loud it shook the trees. So loud that my ears rang. “Wait,” she said, not looking at me, “wait.” I looked forward, and saw a huge pack of wolves running for me. “Get out of the way!” I yelled, tugging at her sleeve. She shook me off and looked at me once again. I could feel her eyes burning on me, making me sit down. I sat criss-crossed, waiting for the wolves to come at me. I survived a bombing, and I will now die from a hungry pack of wolves. I shut my eyes tight, waiting for them to attack. I waited, and waited, and waited. “Open your eyes…” A voice whispered. I lifted an eyelid, feeling a warm breath on my neck. “Other one…” The voice was louder. I opened both of my eyes to see a wolf. A wolf sitting in front of me, tongue out, and a glint of light in its eyes. Was this the thing that was talking to me? “Raina Parks,” the wolf said soothingly. Me? This wolf was speaking to …show more content…
I looked down at my hand, a red circle was engraved into my palm. I flexed my hand, and looked again. Symbols were slowly showing up, light to dark. It was a weird figure, a large circle filled with transcripts, they shone brightly.
After staring at my hand for short time, something caught my eye. A flower! There was a bright blue flower with pink stripes, in the corner of the cave. I sprinted over, sitting down just before it. I reached out, touching one of the petals. A bright light blinded me, making me stumble back, landing on my hands. A red glittering line ran across the cave. It brightened the world. Making the sky blue again, the grass green, the trees alive, the water holes filled, and the animals healed. Shadow appeared out of the shadows of a corner.
“I told you. Chosen one,” She said with a huge
The wind twirled around the columns, engulfing the girl standing in the center. Her hands raised as she looked to the open ceiling. She swayed with the wind, letting it push her and guide her.
"Yes, alpha, have a safe trip.” I hanged up the phone. After hearing about the girl, I was antsy throughout my whole meeting. My wolf wanted to go home right aways so as soon as the conference was done I made it back to my territory. When I reached the pack house everybody was outside having a cookout. The kids were playing while the grownups watched over them.
Out of the darkness, rivers of brilliant light and color began to flow all around her, as if a dam holding back a rainbow had miraculously burst. Then she heard the music... a melody so beautiful it tugged at her very soul. It was as if the euphony clothed her in an impenetrable blanket. She felt warm. She felt safe. Uncontrollably, tears welled up, the hymn gripping her heart, and she was forced to squeeze her eyes shut and instinctively her body curled into a protective ball.
Nothing was heard, only the water droplets that drops from the crack ceiling. Making a small puddle on the ground, having mice roaming around the place.
It was dark as night outside yet still early, and the heavy winds were causing the rain to smack in to the house. Dime stood peeping out of the window as she hid her naked body behind the curtains, staring at the trees dancing in the storm.
He opens his eyes to see a slate white room. He turns his head to see a colossal amount of many different flowers. He hears a beeping beside the bed he is laying in. Then, he feels a rush of excruciating pain throughout his entire body. Suddenly, he feels as if somebody is tearing off his leg. He frantically yanks off the white sheets to reveal his a stub leg. He attempted to let out a scream but no air could come out. Finally, his mother runs in with decaying tissues in her hand and red puffy eyes. “Oh Derek!” she exclaims while thrusting him into her arms causing shocks of pain to circulate his body. “They said you might not wake up. Thank you! Thank you! Don’t worry it will be okay. Everything will be okay.” However, Derek didn’t believe anything she said. Nothing at that moment seemed okay. Derek closes his eyes hoping that if he fell asleep he could escape
Red light, bright as the midday sun, flared into existence. It began to flicker and waver. Small tongues of flame spread their reach, jumping from the floor onto the nearby curtains. It began to pick up the pace as it consumed more and more like a starving creature. In seconds, it had spread to all the curtains that spanned across the room-length window. Smoke filled the air, giving the walls a fine layer of ash and soot. In the bed opposite the window, a girl rested her head. Her eyes flashed open as she breathed in the heavy tang.
The rain got harder as Tina walked alone in tears. She missed her daughter Iris. Tina thought about all the good times they had together. She wondered why Iris had done that to herself. Iris was a skinny young girl who killed herself. Iris wa bullied at school for how far she was, so Iris decided to stop eating. Tina was walking in the rain. It had been a year since Iris was gone. She thought back to that day. Tina woke up and made herself some coffee. She nibbled on a muffin that she bought from the store yesterday. She took Iris to school and then went to work. Tina went throughout her day as usual, but what she didn’t know was that soon her daughter would take her own life. Iris got home and went up into her bedroom. Tina wouldn’t get home
My mom drove me to school, filling the car with an awkward and unbearable silence. The only noise was her thumb tapping the steering wheel and the annoying clicking of the signals. Since I am on punishment, I'm not allowed to have the luxury of Megan driving me. To make this car ride a little bit less awkward, I turned on the radio and blasted up the volume to the highest notch.
It was sad to see it in this state of disrepair, and she hoped to remedy that soon.
It was around noon when Leah finally decided to walk into the kitchen. She wasn’t expecting a warm welcome, but she wasn’t prepared for the ice-cold reception the guys gave her, Thor and Bruce practically bolted out of the room without even acknowledging her presence. Tony gave a hurried excuse about having to check some lab results and Clint said he needed to train. The only one who didn’t leave was Steve, who remained sitting on a stool at the kitchen bar.
At times, I think the world around me is crashing to the ground, but it keeps going. Like most people, I face obstacles of not making it to work on time, the terror of not meeting deadlines and a large family demanding my time. However, I have never encountered the type of tragedy that can bring you to your knees, that can drive you over the edge, that can influence one’s mind with thoughts of suicide until the wee hours of a mid-June morning, fifteen years ago.
Kazimir- No, it seems you need more convincing which is the purpose of this second meeting. Are you so feminine and peaceful that you would forgive
The wolf, looking closely at her movements, knew she was lying. He did not want any problems with her. So he turned away, put on an angry expression, and walked away.
Before either of us could do anything, a croaky voice says, “Blue, what're you doing with a wolf? Haven't you heard they try to eat you?”
