Defining a moment in life that determines a career pathway is often a difficult task. Though sometimes inspiration from a particular person or event directly impacts that decision. The goal of becoming a Physician Assistant became clear for me in 2013 when I spent many months dealing with health professionals before and after the death of my infant daughter. This was a life changing moment and I knew then that the passion for working with people and being able to help solve some of the medical mysteries with diagnostic components would be where I wanted to make my career. Choosing the Physician Assistant role allows more of a social aspect with direct patient care in comparison to a Physician, yet they are more equipped to tailor a plan

To become qualified, they must acquire at least a bachelor’s degree that has education programs accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).4
I chose the career of Physician Assistant, since it’s compatible with my interests, skills, and work values. Physician Assistants provide patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of physicians. I ideally wanted a job that did not require more than a master's degree; this job fits that as well as other criteria. Physician Assistants, like other health care employees, want to help people directly. This is my goal for a career and becoming a Physician Assistant allows me to do this also with a comfortable amount of schooling.
I would like to develop my knowledge of all aspects of the Healthcare Assistants role to support the pharmacist, and become self-confident in meeting all aspects of the role, by learning and providing both excellent and knowledgeable patient service. I have been doing some research of my program and I have came up with a lot of very interesting facts. “Everything happens for a reason;” a quote that is told to people as a way to ease the discomfort of an uncomfortable situation. Although the phrase is vague and cliché I have often found solace in it during my pursuit of becoming a physician assistant. The first instance where it was of great relevance was the day that I had lost one of my closest friends at the time to an undiagnosed case of appendicitis that ruptured. I was in sixth grade at the time and this experience encouraged me to mature and pursue life with a purpose. As I entered high school I used this tragedy to excel both academically and as a person. Upon entering college I knew that I wanted to enter the healthcare field but it wasn’t until several learning experiences later I realized that becoming a physician assistant would allow me to provide care in a way that best fit my personality and goals for a career in medicine.
New skills I would like to learn are public speaking, professional swimmer, learn different languages like spanish, arabic, italian, and other languages. Be better at math because I’m miserable at it. How to play music instruments I've always been fascinated by drums and piano. I would like to learn for my career as a nurse or as a medical assistant are the ability to make your patients feel better or an effective communicator and giving more positive to other people. I want to learn the medical terminology, I am fascinated about it and I want to learn the dosage calculations. I want to learn many things about in medical field. To develop this new skills, first of all I need to focus on what want to pursue in life especially in my career. Practice
Jostling about in the hot, noisy Tuk Tuk, with every rut in the road, I wondered why I had signed up for this. Medical mission trips are organized to help people who lack access to medical care, but, honestly, for all the complications, I think these trips benefited me more by helping me know myself better. Growing up, people labeled me as shy and quiet and maybe I was, but it was only because I never really quite fit in with my peers. The first time I felt that I belonged and had a purpose was on my first mission trip to Peru. It felt good helping all those wide-eyed, hopeful children and to finally be surrounded by people who were just like me – we worked as a team with a common goal to help those communities desperately needing healthcare. I discovered a joy in helping others I still feel today, which has inspired me to pursue a career as a Physician’s Assistant (PA).
If I had a ticket to go anywhere I would want to go to the future. To see if my plans of me becoming a physicians assistant actually worked out, Also to see what the world around me would be like in twenty or thirty years from now.
The main goals I have for myself are to become a well-rounded, intelligent, and focused nurse. I want to know all about nursing and how I can help everyone I can. I come from a long line of strong women who were nurses. Nursing is in my blood and I want to carry the legacy on. As a nurse, I want to be able to touch as many lives as possible. As for my education, I want to continue on for the rest of my life, therefore I will never stop learning new medical procedures and practices for the future. I want to be able to be educated in all ways of nursing so it opens my opportunities to help more people. There are many people in the world that need my help and if I can touch hundreds of them I know that in my heart I did the right thing. Not only
