I am excited about the opportunity to serve the Eugene Water & Electric Board and my fellow EWEB customers as an Administrative Assistant II. With my time-tested attention to detail and project management skills under ongoing deadline pressure and under the scrutiny of thousands of customers, I can effectively and enthusiastically fill the role. My media career was born of a desire to serve others with relevant and accurate information, resolving their concerns and giving them the tools they need to solve their problems. I provide such information now over the phone for travel agents and Royal Caribbean guests after previously editing the pages I now use to retrieve some of that information. With extensive previous experience in print media,

There are numerous reasons why I aspire to be a resident assistant. The most important reason why I am applying to be an RA is to inspire, motivate and transform students. I believe that my ability to provide valuable skills and resources to my resident will be highly beneficial not only to the students that receive my help, but CCSU as a whole. For example, when I attended CCSU in the summer of 2013, I was a struggling student trying to earn my spot as a central student. However, I found it hard to grasp my head around the transition from high school to college. On the other hand, I was fortunate enough to have Reina as my RA and she motivated, inspired and transformed me to believe in myself. I would be truly

The reason why I want to be a medical assistant is very dear and personal to me. First, my mother is a type I diabetic. Growing up, I recall her having many issues with her glucose levels being elevated. I assisted by giving her insulin shots and helping her check her blood sugar regularly. She’s now on an insulin pump and is facing a pancreas transplant if her medicine fails to help. Next, my Grandma Scherer suffered from diabetes. I always attempted to be of aid when her glucose dropped by keeping sweets nearby. After her kidneys failed in 2005, she went on dialysis. Consequently, she succumbed to diabetes in August of 2007. Also, there was my dear Grandpa McKee. He endured renal failure and diabetes. Witnessing him suffer in the hospital
After high school I plan to attend college and major in biology or environmental science. I’m undecided on whether I want to go on to become a doctor or a physician assistant. However, I intend to use my career as either a doctor or a physician assistant to serve underdeveloped areas both nationally and internationally. I’d also like to get involved with organizations that involve promoting health and education.
As I started my undergraduate journey, I never thought I would end up where I am now. When I entered college, I thought that my degree in chemistry would be a stepping-stone on the way to medical school. My one and only goal, at the start of college, was to work as hard as I could to ensure that I would one day become a doctor. However, along the way I figured out that medical school was not where my passions lie.
I write in response to your ad seeking receptionist and administrative assistant. Running as an assistant, customer service, and handling administrative duties in my previous experiences has prepared me to embark upon a broad array of barriers that may arise in a fast-paced environment. I will bring professionalism and reliability to this position.
One of my fondest passions is learning about the human body. I find the inner mechanisms of the human body to be extremely intriguing – the ability for so many intersecting faculties to form a cohesive, high-functioning organism is truly astounding. I am currently majoring in the Honours Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience program at the University of Windsor and throughout my time studying, I have developed a greater sense of not only the human brain, but the physiological and biological mechanisms involved throughout the entire body. I have been able to apply this knowledge throughout my experiences as a teaching assistant for multiple undergraduate courses. My role as a teaching assistant allows me to apply my knowledge of the human body
