They focus on doing what is right for others and trying their best in everything that they do. Although being a hero does not always involve having powers or a cape, heroes make difficult sacrifices for others and are normal people whose actions often go unnoticed.

Heros are so much more complex than they are simple. Heros big or small, real or fictional. Heros can range from someone like Superman to someone like Beowulf or from someone like my mom. This is one reason out of the many of why heroes are so complex. You don't have to slay monsters to be a hero. Your average fictional hero doesn't sound like that does it. Fictional heroes save damsels in distress, hunt for treasure and save the day. But if all the heroes in the world were exactly the same, would they really be heroes? Now a lot of heroes are like but none are the same. They all have different motivations, different goals such as wanting you to have some feeling of comfort after a breakup, killing a monster with their bare hands, telling you that everything will get better after your boyfriend dies, or even defeating a dragon.

Heroes come in many shapes and sizes, but what really makes a hero? Well some people might say they have to be “buff” or they have to be “smart” but that’s usually not the case, as we said hero’s come in many shapes and sizes. It's not about what you look like, it’s about what you so that makes you a true hero. What does it take to be a hero. What I think it takes to be a hero is that you need to be able to make sacrifices they don't just benefit you, but for everyone else. You have to be a very good person in order to be considered a hero. A hero is someone who affects the people around him in a good way. A hero affects people and causes mostly good changes. A hero is a good person that everyone can look up to.

Joseph Campbell once said “ A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself”. Being a hero doesn't necessarily mean you are the strongest or the fastest, it can simply mean you put others before yourself. Being heroic can have many different attributes ,but in my eyes a hero reflects characteristics of selflessness, courage and nobleness.

There are many types of heroes (such as the ones in comic books, myths, movies, or even just everyday life heroes) but all of them have perseverance when they’re going through a conflict. Heroes are role models and they’re people that we look up too. They all have unique and special qualities that make one another different from each other. For example policemen battle crime everyday and when they’re overcoming a conflict they have determination, courage and other traits that people admire them for and that make them as a hero. Typically a hero is admired for their achievement/actions and qualities.

Throughout time and literature hero’s have not changed physically but the people who are looked to as hero’s has. A hero is someone who goes above and beyond what is required to help someone in need. Hero’s come in many shapes and sizes, and carry many similar but different qualities. Hero’s are kind people who truly care for others without any alterrior motives. People who care and donate their time, energy, love, and kindness to others. Also a person who is brave, daring and courageous are considered hero’s.

What is a hero to you in your eyes? A hero to me in my eyes is someone like a soldier or a veteran who has sacrificed everything for us to keep us safe. A hero is also someone who has deep motivation to keep themselves and their family safe throughout the battle. A hero is someone who is brave, strong, kind, giving and caring. Heroes are people who always want to help with things and make sure things are good for people and themselves.

Many people would say that a hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities, like it says in the definition; but to me a hero is also someone to look up to or aspire to be. Heroes have special qualities that make them heroes; they could be inclined in a certain sport you play, or they could have been valedictorian in their high school class. They could have written your favorite book or taught a class in school. Either way, your hero could be anyone. They might be someone you follow on Twitter or Instagram. They could be someone you watch on YouTube, or an author, or an athlete. They’re possibly a famous musician, a cosplayer you really like, one of your teachers, or even your mom or dad.
