Those that would not be considered novices in the world of politics or government could argue that corruption is antidemocratic albeit corruption is not a political ideology per say it does share one or two fundamental characteristics with a ideology that is trans-disposed to democracy and that is the accumulation or adsorption of power and wealth by any means that does not incite arrest or incarceration from committing these acts, and secondly the acts committed for, or by means of corruption is in conflict with governing laws that all citizens must adhere by, this can also be in contrast to ethics and morality to most people.
