A Star is Born: Marilyn Monroe
I was inspired to write about Marilyn Monroe because she seemed like she knew a lot about life and everything she went through. She was a big movie star and she fought for what she believed in she wanted a good part in movies but the directors always put her as a blonde and she had to be dumb and she didn't like that. She didn't understand because she was intelligent and that is what they thought of beautiful blonds back then. She was good at everything she did. People wanted to take an advantage of her. But she was a good person that always got took for granted.
She was born on June 1st, 1926 n Lag Angles and died August 5, 1962. She was known for a sex symbol to people and she had a difficult life

She was sex symbol and lots of men adored her and wanted to be with her. And loved her but people took advantage of her and never wanted her to be happy. I think she was a good actress and her husband ended up having a affair and just used her for the wrong reasons. She did have a hard life and she wanted her dreams to come true. I mean don’t everyone want their dreams to come true? Not all the time only happens once in a lifetime.
Marilyn Monroe died over a Barbiturate overdose she was the sixth greatest female actress and people classified it was a suicide and people were very hurt that she died because she was a good person and she loved and believed in herself and she never understood why people took her the wrong way. Maybe the things she put herself into and other reasons. I think it was a choice that she wanted to be a sex symbol her career would have probably been better if she was not a sex symbol people would have took her seriously. Someone said that beauty in not a curse its who you are and thats counts. And I thought was amazing that is what something I would say because people wanted to be just like her but nobody could ever be like her.
I would not ever think that if someone so beautiful and smart could be so wrong trying to follow her dream then that person is wrong! I’m not one really to judge but if she wanted to live out her dream and she fulfilled it. I loved her movies and it was really good that
Previous critics grew nervous of appearing to insult a worthy, now frail, old woman, who was also a mother and grandmother. Above all, the Queen was represented as a symbol of peace and goodness, and as a universal and loving mother. This is why her death was taken particularly bad in Australia, and all Australians felt it personally.
When Marilyn Monroe is talked about she is normally talked about negatively. People always talk about how she is a sex symbol. But that is not all she was. she was a lot more than just a sex symbol she went through a lot as a child moving from one house to another. But people nowadays don’t look at that, they don’t see that side of her. It may be because she wanted to forget about all of the things she went through and that may be why she dyed her hair and had plastic surgery so she looked like a pretty star that hasn’t gone through
When people hear the name Marilyn Monroe, mostly everyone has the same image in their mind of who this woman was. Some of the adjectives people would use to describe her are beautiful, glamorous, iconic, or even dumb. What people don’t understand is that all those words could be just an image that the media created for her. Marilyn Monroe was a troubled young woman who had a rough upbringing that haunted her for the rest of her life. All of that aside, she was one of the most influential people of the 20th century and one of the first sex symbols. People even consider her to be a legend.
She was well known for her distinct, raspy voice. Many people express disapproval of her, but honestly, she had real capacity. She was one of the substantial female stars in her lifetime, and there weren’t many recognized female artists in the 60’s. One really needs to give her credit, despite her controversial personal life of moving from man to man, and being a lesbian at one point. In my eyes, she was just confused, depressed, and seriously needed help. Her death in 1974 was harrowing, and I wish she could’ve lived longer to make more beautiful music. Her songs have a lot of emotion and soul in her voice and it’s so pleasing to the
She became a well known dancer and a high paid chorus member. In 1925 she got the chance to tour Europe and especially fell in love with France. In France she encountered a much more accepting atmosphere than the racist atmosphere in St. Louis. Her performances became much more exotic and extravagant. She later chose to live in France and leave the racism of the United States behind.

She was the starving musician, the jazz singer who did all she could to stay alive and still do what she loves. The dedication she displayed to jazz is not easy to explain. She was a perfectionist in her fashion, depending upon her excellent ear, unique voice and honesty and love for people to keep her love alive.
The sixties were a time of social and political change in America, and the art world was not left untouched. Early in the decade a new movement focused on popular culture and national icons began to develop. It was aptly named Pop art. "Many critics were alarmed by Pop, uncertain whether it was embracing or parodying popular culture and fearful that it threatened the survival of both modernist art and high culture..." (Stokstad 1101) Pop artists were not the first to make cultural statements with their work, however controversial art always draws criticism and attention. One of the most well known artists of the Pop movement was Andy Warhol, a young commerial illustrator from manhattan. Warhol's use of popular icons and brands as the focus
Maya Angelou has inspired me in more ways than one, and I had to write about her. When Maya speaks people listen. She has this wisdom that only few have, especially when life wasn’t always great. She turned tragedy into triumph, and helped others in doing so. So, Maya has proven too many women, especially black women that you succeed, even if you have had a child in your teen years. She’s proof that with determination nothing is unattainable.
Princess Diana was always trying new things and helping those in need. She trusted her own judgment on many things. After her divorce from Prince Charles, she had to reinvent her life
She was idealized by every young African American girl in the 70's. She produced number one hits one after the other and became a social icon.
Audrey Hepburn’s legacy will forever live on through the years, not only in her acting, but also in her name, generosity, and image she created. She worked hard, never gave up, was patient, and persevered. Audrey also inspired people on a daily bases to help others and believe in themselves. She will never be forgotten, for everything she did, and who she was. “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!” F If Audrey Hepburn overcame immeasurable difficulties in life, but
