Aaron Maybin and Peyton Manninng have been idealistic all through their careers. Both athletes were constantly positive and confident about one-self. Manning never surrendered, in the wake of experiencing harsh times and wounds people would think he would return unproductive. As indicated by the first article, paragraph 7, "Few expected him to return to greatness after the 2011 neck surgery.... Instead, Manning went 50-15 in Denver, won his 5th MVP and broke numerous records." Tom Brady is widely considered to be one of the best athletes of today’s day and age, and thought of by many as possibly the best quarterback in NFL history. Numerous factors have led to his overall success in football over the past 20 or so years, but nothing has been as important as his own implicit personality structures. Brady has dealt with a lot of negative feedback ever since he started playing football; people telling him he wasn’t good enough to play or that he wasn’t tough enough to be a quarterback in the NFL. His whole career has been a balancing act of proving people wrong by continuing to surpass what was thought to be humanly possible on the field. He has clearly surpassed expectations on and off the field, because of this success it is acceptable to ask the question of how his personality has helped lead to his success in the NFL. Furthermore, Brady is clearly a person high in conscientiousness and self-control, therefore another question that could be debated is how would he cope with not being able to play the game he loves.
Eli Manning was not always the tranquil, placid quarterback that we see today. He was once a young child who was not engrossed in football or sports at all. Being seven and five years younger than his elder brothers, Cooper and Peyton, he was never tangled in their loud, often bloody fraternal battles over basketball or checkers or life. “I

In today’s society being viewed as “different” or an “other” is one of the worst things that could happen to a person because we have no tolerance for those who stand out, look, talk or act in different ways than us. Although most of our society is narrow-minded, there are people who counteract the social norm and are accepting to those who are “different”, and those are the type of people who in my opinion, are the people who we need more of. Beethoven once said, “Music should strike fire from the heart of man, and bring tears from the eyes of a woman.” I find this quote to be very true because many of Shapiro’s pieces that I have listened to has made me feel many emotions. A good composer will fill ears with music, but, a great composer will fill hearts with music. According to a 2010 interview, an interview asked Shapiro “what kind of composer are you?” and she replied “a wonderful composer!” I love her enthusiasm and sense of humor; Shapiro later followed up her response to that question and stated that she is a heartfelt composer, who writes in all genres and styles. Alex Shapiro was born in New York City in 1962, and she was brought up in Manhattan. She moved to Los Angeles in 1983, where she stayed for 24 years. Shapiro studied at The Juilliard School and The Manhattan School of Music, in fact, that is where she realized she loved composing acoustic and electroacoustic music (“Landscape Music”). Although Alex Shapiro is not as well known as some composers, she still has a great musical history, and she is still hard at work with new projects.

Canis Major is my favorite constellation out of all the other constellations because of its personal meaning to me. I chose this constellation because I have the most knowledge of it from my father who used to sit under the stars with me and tell me all about Orion and his faithful canine companions. I particularly liked that Canis Major was home to Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. My father told me stories of a man named Sirius Black that had gone to Hogwarts many years ago and it piqued my interest, considering that Canis Major is a loyal dog with a star named Sirius in it. Canis Major is visible during the morning hours of fall and the later hours in winter. It is the 43rd largest constellation in the sky, and takes up 380 square degrees.
