A human right is defined as a right that is believed to belong to every human being. Abortion is considered a human right because receiving the procedure falls within the right to privacy. Imagine a woman with a doomed fetus not having the right to abortion. A doomed fetus is one that will not survive outside the womb. She will be forced to carry that child to term and watch it perish. Forcing a woman to birth a child knowing it will not survive long is cruel and unusual punishment.
