Adolf Hitler is known for being one of the world’s greatest leaders of all time. It was always that way though. He went through the thick and the thin to get into the power that he had obtained throughout his life. In the 20th century Germany had horrible economic depression during which people had lost their government, Hitler quickly took advantage of this opportunity and rose to a powerful leader. Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, at 6:30 p.m. in a small Austrian village of Braunau Am Inn, which is near the border of German Bavaria. In the year of 1895, at the age of six, two very significant things happened that would distort his outlook on life. Hitler’s First significant event came when he had to attend primary school, as a young, care free kid this had bothered him greatly. Secondly, his father had retired on a pension from being in the Austrian civil service. For Adolf this had meant he would be receiving double supervision and discipline from his watchful teacher along with his very strict father. One of his greatest achievements was the “Iron Crosses”; he had received this medal when he narrowly escaped death in the battlefield many times. With the rank of lance corporal, he achieved no higher rank. Thus resulting in that he reaped the benefits from the war, unlike the higher-level officers who got blamed for the war. His rank may have been low, however, his relative achievements were high. In October 1916, an enemy shell had wounded Hitler; he was quickly sent to a hospital in Berlin. While recovering some Jews had become leader of abortive revolutions, resulting in Hitler’s hatred towards Jews and Communists.
