Against Bringing Dogs To Work I totally appreciate the idea, but I dont think the Bring Your Dog to Work program is what is office needs at this time. Personally, I like dogs and currently have two living in my home. However, that does not mean that i would just love to have them in my workplace. My job consist of other employees that or in the office alone with me that I have to also consider upon making this decision. My co-workers may be allergic to dogs. However, some may just be terrified of dogs. I don't think that having them to submit to being in the presents of dogs on the job would be professional. On the other hand, Studies do show that dogs cause less stress. These studies also shows that dogs carries fleas, and
Deciding whether or not I should agree with dogs being allowed in our work place was very tricky for me. I appreciate your desire to make sure every employee feels comfortable and stress-free at work. Also, I adore dogs and would love to able to have my furry-friend alongside me all day long. However, after looking at the pro's and con's, I'd have to say I do not agree with this idea.
Dogs, in my opinion, make very wonderful pets. Allowing a dog into a workplace makes sense in some ways, but I would definetly not support it. People who support the idea claim they would feel more relaxed, have less stress, and be more
I understand both sides of the “Brig your dog to work program”, but I don’t think it is a good idea. I have a dog and I love dogs, but many people aren’t as comfortable around them because some dogs bite, or act badly when they’re stressed out. Just like people do, dogs get stressed when they’re introduced into new enviroments, and they might get stressed, they may act wonderful around the house or around people they know, but that doesn’t mean they will act well to changes.
Although it would be nice for dog owners to bring their pet to work with them sounds like a good idea some employees might be alergic to the dogs. In addition to being alergic some employees could have had past experiences with a dog, like being bitten or chased by one and may be anxious around dogs. Furthurmore, dogs are usually very unsanitary and could spread bacteria or diseases throughout the workplace just by licking.
I am quite the animal lover and I believe this idea should be well thought over. Not everyone would agree with this idea to have your dog in the work place do to alergies or they could even be afraid of your dog. To help
In certain work places i do belive dogs can be a positive energy and a relaxing company to have around the work place. In my own experiance at school some of the teachers bring theyre dogs to work, the dogs are very quiet and nice which helps me feel relaxed and able to reduce stress in the classroom. Another reason i am in support of the bring your dog to work program is beacause, in the article it states that theyre are studies showing that bringing your dog to work can increase the work productivity and workers have a sense of relaxation also more people experience a sense of well
The first article "In Support of Bringing Dogs to Work" discuses about the productivity of bieng able to bring our dogs. The office can be very stressful, and having our dogs will make us feel less stressed and anxious. Some people may even feel that their dogs are a part of them that they are leaving behined.Dogs also help us feel more calm and relaxed.Being able to bing our dogs is a very great idea.
Some people like dogs. But there are the people who don't. Due to them not liking dogs they will be unsatified with the workplace. If they are unsatisfied they will either make complaints or worse quit their job. This is another reason why dogs should not be allowed
I feel that it is a bad idea, but on the other end it is a good one also. I feel that it is good because it'll keep stress down and you won't worry yourself about your dog while your at work. I also think it's a good idea because dogs may worry theirselves while the pet owner is at work for long hours. Dogs also can get out the house and interact with more people which is good for them so they wont be miserable. The reason I think it's a bad idea is because they could bring germs in the workplace especially around food and elderly people. Aslo, some people may be allergic or even afraid of dogs too! Some dogs may be aggresive when they get around other people and may cause lawsuits if your dog bites someone inside the workplace. So therefore
I think that dogs should not be aloud at the workplace for a few reasons. One its very unsanitary, not all dogs are properly trained and could go to the bathroom at any point they feel like it. Also dogs are for the most part aggresive and territorial, granted some aren't like this but a lot of dogs are. So if you have a lot of dogs in an office area there could be a lot of barking and growling which would cause distraction throughout the work day. Another reason I think this isn't a good idea is because workers who do bring pets in will have to always be paying attention to their animal, as well as their tasks at work and productivity will more than likely go down. Lastly I think that it's a bad idea to bring on thiss policy because there
I Believe and support the idea of bringing your dog to work, I think it is a wonderful idea, they have many beautiful reasons why you should.
First of all for the pros, workers would be able to be just alittle more relaxed with they're dogs in the workspace as they keep them comfortable and less worked up. It can be very stressful while the wokers work on projects or big tasks so with them there by they're side the workers can have a sense of happiness while they pet or play with they're dogs. This can also help workers that work very late in the night or have to leave early in the morning since they wont have to worry about what they're dog is doing or if its hungry or not. With the workers happy and able to play with they're dogs the workspace would become more happy
In conclusion, I heavenly disagree to Bring Your Dog to Work Program, due to it effecting workers' comfort, health safety, and company profits. Many people have issues with dogs, such as being anxious with them around because of past experiences. By dogs being unsanitary at work it may cause employees to use more sick days than usual. Furthermore, ill-behave dogs can affect the companies profits due to
Employees who bring their dogs to work are free of the guilt and worry over leaving their dogs at home. They also offer a sense of comfort not normally found at work (Stone 1). This improves employee morale which, in turn, leads to employee loyalty. Len Kane, co-editor and co-founder of Dogfriendly.com, states that “studies have shown people are more likely to remain with an employer that allows them to bring their dog to work” (Stone 1). A survey conducted by SimplyHired.com and Dogster.com concluded that 32 percent of employees surveyed would work for less money if allowed to bring their dogs (Stone 1). Such benefits
First of all, If there were to be a bring your dog to work day than it might not be a good idea. In the seccond response the text states "not everyone likes dogs or is comfortable around them. Like many americans, I am allergic to dogs" I totally agree with this. We would have to send out forms to the parents asking whether the child is allergic to dogs or if they're scared of them. If some of the kids were scared of dogs that would be a big violation right there. Parents would be calling in and asking all these questions about the pets and most likely complaining. In my
