Albert Einstein
In the history of the United States of America, there have been many different people who have influenced this country in different ways. There have been people, such as George Washington, who have benefited this country exponentially and have caused it to grow and become better. On the contrary, there have been people who have taken a great toll on this country and had influenced it to do wrong. Albert Einstein is a man who most think has benefited the country tremendously, but was he a valuable contributor to the welfare of the United States, or was he detrimental to society? In the early years of Albert Einstein’s life, he had a very complicated and tough school life. He grew up in Munich, Germany and there he obtained an early education. His early school life was filled with hardships of every kind. “He was a poor student, and some of his teachers thought he might be retarded (mentally handicapped); he was unable to speak fluently (with ease and grace) at age nine” (Albert Einstein Biography). On the contrary, he was very intelligent in his own way. He loved learning about nature and he yearned to find solutions to the world's problems. He learned to play the violin at the age of 6 and he continued to play the violin throughout the course of his life. When he was twelve years old, he discovered geometry and was fascinated with shapes and structures. Then, by the age of 16, he mastered calculus which pushed him towards a career in physics and
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, a city in the state of Wurttenmberg, Germany. Son of Hermann and Pauline Kock Einstein. Albert Einstein is considered to be one of the greatest and most popular scientists of all time. Albert Einstein believes in humanity, in a peaceful world of mutual helpfulness, and in the high mission of science. He stated in this quote that, "The world is too dangerous to live in - not because of the people who do evil, but because of the people who sit and let it happen." What does Einstein mean? How does his quote apply to Nazi-occupied Europe? How does it apply to the United States during the Nazi era and to individuals and groups who chose to help? By analyzing Einstein's quote and taking a closer look into the holocaust history, I will be able to answer these questions.
Imagine you are sitting in a room and you look down at your phone as it says it’s 1:00 p.m. How do you know it is actually 1:00? If it said 2:00 a.m. would you believe it if it was sunny outside? Without Albert Einstein, we would not have many things including our current understanding of time. Albert Einstein had a positive effect on the future of the world because without his discoveries many of today's inventions would be non-existent. He changed the way scientists view everything from matter and energy, as well as light, Time Magazine even named him the most influential person of the 20th century.
Albert Einstein once said, “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one had learned in school” (brainyquote.com). Albert Einstein was a scientist who strongly believed in the importance of education and knowledge and worked so that the entire world could know more about what’s around them. Albert Einstein is important in American history because of his many scientific discoveries and some of his efforts during World War 1.
Throughout Albert Einstein’s lifetime he accomplished many amazing things that have an effect on people today. For example, in 1905, “often called as Einstein’s “miracle year”, he published four papers in the Annalen der Physik, each of which would alter the course of modern physics” (Michio,Kaku 13). Throughout Einstein’s four books, he “applied the
Albert Einstein, who arguably contributed more than any other scientist since Sir Isaac Newton to our modern vision of physical reality, is clearly one of the most gifted intellects the world has ever known. In a relatively brief period of time, Einstein changed the way people thought about space, time, gravitation and war.
Albert Einstein was one the greatest mind in the 1900s. In 1905 he went on to achieve worldwide fame for his general theory of relativity and received a Nobel Prize in 1921. After Hitler gain control of Germany he emigrated from Germany to the United States. In the 1930s Einstein theories included his equation E=Mc2 which later help form the foundation for the atomic bomb. In the late 1939
Albert Einstein, the acclaimed theoretical physicist, became Albert Einstein when his passion for physics and
F. Scott Fitzgerald was born on September 24, 1896, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a child, he lived a comfortable life with luxuries due to his mother's fortune. As a child, he attended a catholic school and wrote his first novel at the age of 13. His claim to fame was writing the Great Gatsby, where he started to be known as a real writer and wrote many other great pieces of writing that were later appreciated. It gained popularity due to its description of the 1920’s. After this, he became a heavy drinker which led to alcoholism and he began to have many problems such wife who began to have mental problems. Some of his contributions to society are his work of the Great Gatsby is read by every High School, that is transforming generations through literature. Albert Einstein would get along with F. Scott Fitzgerald because Einstein likes reading books and they can converse about The Great Gatsby and his ideas on how he came up with the book and probably give him some ideas.
Einstein’s statement is as true today as it was when the words were uttered by his mouth. Adaikalam Ramasamy, my paternal grandfather, was a businessman who owned several businesses. Of them included a pharmacy, wine and liquor store, grocery shop, and a textile/cloth outlet. On the side, he worked as a secretary for a local political party, and took liking being a social activist. However, life was not always so effortless, as when my grandfather was 10 (1980’s), the Indian economy was failing. Even still, he persevered to get a good education, and managed to have a successful life. His wife and my grandmother, Vijayalakshmi Vijayasundaram, lived
“I have no special talent. Einstein should be #1 on the Time Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People of the Century because he helped form the basis of the development of the atomic bomb, won a number of awards, and he made many advances in science. Albert Einstein has been very influential in the world of science. He helped form a plan for the first atomic bomb which helped put an end to World War II. “...Einstein’s theories, including his equation E=mc2, helped form the basis of the development of the atomic bomb…”
I think albert einstein was very honorable be cause of his many accomplishments. Some of his accomplishments were the photoelectric effect, Brownian motion, special relativity, and the equivalence of matter and energy. I think the best one is how smart he became even though his teachers wouldn't teach him because they thought he was stupid. His accomplishments were honored and important to science. They were honored because how they help drive science learning into a new level and gave humans a new understanding of the world and science. They then understood matter and energy better and that there is electrons
According to Advergize, “... Albert Einstein is not known for his inventions, but his great theories on which the modern science stands today.” To this day, scientists are able to make discoveries about light and speed because of Einstein’s theories. He showed everyone that one can do anything no matter what religion or ethnicity he or she is. Being Jewish in Nazi Germany did not stop Einstein from being an influential person all around the world. Impacting the science world, Einstein’s theories and discoveries still stand true and strong.
Einstein helped in the war efforts during WW2. What he created is one of the most dangerous bombs ever. The americans have only ever use it once. Einstein created the atomic bomb(Albert Einstein Facts). The americans asked him to make a bomb so powerful that it would stop the war between The U.S. and Japan. Because He was such a great scientist that He was awarded with a nobel peace prize(Albert Einstein Facts). Another fun fact, Einstein was actually asked to be the president of Israel(Albert Einstein Facts). He rejected the offer but He was so smart and such a good guy that He was asked to be a president. This man was an immigrant from Germany. He did so much for the field of science. Einstein helped with rockets, He helped us understand how space works and without his work we would barely know how space
Not long after he began his career at the Institute in New Jersey, Albert Einstein expressed an appreciation for the "meritocracy" of the United States and the right people had to think what they pleased—something he didn’t enjoy as a young man in Europe (David Bodanis).
Albert Einstein had a huge positive impact on history. He changed the confused minds of people and answered their questions. He dedicated his life to science and because of him our world has started to come together. Without him scientists would still be trying to figure out the speed of light, relativity, elements mass…. Etc. He educated the world and encouraged more people to learn about the natures of earth.
