Alice Heroes Today

Either lending a hand to the community, or plotting against the enemy, these people are known as heroes; and they each have different characteristics. Alice is a sly individual, who obviously cares for her well-being. The heroes of today are selfless and are concerned about their community. There are certain “things” that make them unique or distinguishable from each other. The heroes of today, including Alice are the same in their abilities, yet different it their purposes, actions, and the support they receive. First off, the heroes of today have more human-like abilities than Alice. From the beginning to the middle, Alice was constantly running away from the Jabberwock, and escaping was the only thing on her mind. According to paragraphs 30-39, Alice was expecting the Red and White Queens to help her. For instance, in paragraph 34, Alice says, “Oh,” she said, “thank goodness you are here. You two can save me.” Eventually, they ended up not helping her, shown in paragraphs 35-39 because they knew that she had the potential to beat the Jabberwock.
A saying states, actions speak louder than words, and today’s heroes are a perfect demonstration of that. To demonstrate, Michelle Obama travels around the world trying to influence others around her community in a positive manner. In example, she teaches kids how to balance out their nutrition by developing health programs. Additionally, Michelle gives recognition to those who have served in the military. She believes that all of us are capable of making our nation a better place. Her efforts are making a difference, and it shows through her work and …show more content…

When the Red and White Queen’s appeared in paragraphs 30-39, she was expecting for them to save her. Unfortunately, they didn’t do what Alice expected them to, but they had their reasons. The Queens knew that the only person that could possibly support her was herself. They might have not been directly obvious of their support, but in a way that wasn’t known to her, they stood behind her.
Tough Alice and today’s heroes are disparate in the support they receive, their purposes, and actions. Their abilities are similar because they are both human. Alice is still learning more about what she is capable of. The heroes of today are trying to make a change in this society, and they each have different ways of doing so.
