America’s gift to my generation is not just a physical gift, but a mental gift. The physical gift is the safer place to live and grow. This mental gift that America gave to my generation is a deep feeling that you can go around and be who you are, dress in what you want, say what you want, and basically do what you want without being restricted to doing one thing each and every day. America’s gift to my generation is the ability to grow, learn, and live life the way you want to without a limit. No, not to me, America’s gift to my generation is the freedom of speech. It is to follow and worship different religions, say what you want to say, be who you want to be. That right cannot be taken from you because, it is the first Amendment and even back in 1791 congress knew that it was an important right. America’s gift is like a car, brand new, shiny gleaming, and takes you where you want to go.

America has brought this new generation many new opportunities such as , technology, freedom, and rights. Americas technology now is way more complex than it was 30 years ago. Now in this day of age, we have smartphones, televisions, computers, digital clocks and watches, and so much more. Freedom is also very different than it was back in the 1900´s. People now of any color, race, religion, and gender all have rights, as if back then not everybody has the privileges that they do now.

America, it mostly is an amazing continent, or so they for the most part thought. We really take it for granted, not taking care of it, so America, it specifically is an amazing continent in a kind of big way. America however, doesn’t care because it definitely is not a living creature, which mostly is quite significant. When I see a skyscraper in a city, it reminds me of America; it stands taller than other nations. Like a skyscraper, America was built up from scratch by people who saw potential in its future. Our founding fathers drew the blueprint of America, suggesting that our colonies could unite to form one monumental building. From that blueprint, our Constitution was created which I believe is America’s gift to my generation.

America’s gift to our generation are the freedoms we get here in America. Some countries don’t even let their people have any rights or freedoms. But we are different, and as our own separate nation, we give our people rights to many things. Freedoms to many things, because we are America. America gives us the freedom of religion, the freedom of speech, the freedom of press, the right to assemble, the right to petition government, and the right to bear arms. These are only a few of the freedoms and rights we have here in America.

America has given its people several gifts through the years, but I feel as though one gift really outshines the rest. That would be the gift of opportunity. The Webster’s dictionary definition of the word opportunity is “ a good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success.” America has given its citizens every chance to be successful, productive members of this society.

America has contributed many things to my generation. America is truly lucky to have troops and veterans, for they have been amicable to my generation. One thing they have given is improved women's rights. Before my generation, women weren’t totally equal, but people before me have worked on this.

First , my generation has given us many things including as technology , freedom , and education. Are technology is important because we use it everywhere in america and the world. We use it everyday , in our lives here in america. Another gift is the education that is here in america. We need it to learn and get into colleges here in america and in other countries. Our country is very thankful for having freedom we would be back in the 1700’s. I am happy to have rights because if i didn’t i wouldn’t be able to pick what i wanted to do , i would have had someone pick what i would what to do.

America has given our generation a lot, but almost none of it is positive. We have received technology, which is a great gift. We also have the gift of public education. There are many things we have that aren’t good, however. We all have a fear of our loved ones being attacked in their daily lives, a fear of corrupt leaders accidentally starting a nuclear war, and a fear of the actual real world. The news and media are set to feed us the information that they want us to believe, showing us only one side of a story and making the country believe what they want us to believe. Our country also gave illegal immigrants the opportunity to become citizens by going through a paid college or joining the military, whereas if we were to immigrate

Granted is a word we often use, but don’t nearly understand. America does so much for us every day. I am so blessed for everything I have and enjoy daily. America’s gifts to my generation is the right to discover my future for myself and that people are so kind, plus all the luxuries. I can dream, and know that have a shot, and have citizens helping me all the time.

America’s gifts to my generation are high-speed technology, Wii games, and such as , all of which I am grateful for. Specifically, I am grateful for chromebook laptops, hot cheetos, and Irish Spring soap. I identify with these three products as beneficial, pleasurable, and practical. I know America has it’s downfalls, but looking at the bigger picture, our country is one of the most productive and rewarding country’s a person could ever live in. As of 2016, Haiti’s reported GDP per capita was 739.60. In contrast, as of 2016, America’s GDP per capita was 18.57 trillion. You mean to tell me that I shouldn’t honor and appreciate my country?
