Should the President of the United States have to be born on United States soil?

John Ellis Bush known as JEB was born February 11, 1953 in Texas. He served as governor in Florida from 1999 to 2007. Bush is known for his moderate stance on immigration and common core. JEB is the son of former Preseident George H.W Bush. JEB also has 3 kids named George Bush, Noelle and John Jr. JEb worked as a volunteer on his dad campaign in 1980 saying that " My dad is the greatest man i have ever met or will meet." JEB is fluent in Spanish and graduated from the University of Texas. JEb has a degree in Latin America affairs which is very impressive. JEB is also the only Republican to serve two-four year terms as a governor of Florida.

On Monday, August 14, 2017 a very controversial protest lead by white supremacists occurred Charlottesville, Virginia. The reason why this protest transpired was because the city of Charlottesville decided to remove the statue of the Confederate General, Robert E. Lee, from one of the city’s parks. The groups had met at Charlottesville to protest the decision to bring down the statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Among the protests were activist Richard Spencer and former “Ku Klux Klan” (KKK) leader David Duke. They began to riot in the streets, people began to bash cars and hit people with bats, and fights broke out. One female got hit by a car and died when a car drove in the crowd.

The original protest centered around the proposed removal a statue of Confederate leader Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville’s Emancipation Park. White supremacists and nationalists were dismayed by the plan to remove Lee’s statue -- some because they think the General deserves to be recognized for his place in history, but others -- and those who were most vocal -- believe that whites are the superior race and the Confederacy recognizes that.

This is what is concerning of Trumps presidency is taking us back to the past- not moving forward in an united front, but to divide us even more as a country

The rally that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia is a controversial issue in the United States that has caused a stir between the minority and majority population. This event is a clear example of the issues that were involved during the creation of the new strong government. Those same fundamentals, the founding fathers instituted into the government that were created by the enlightenment thinkers are being tested in the Charlottesville issue through ethical values, racisms, and response from the rest of the states.

After reading Nancy Gibbs article, “Will the Nation Succeed After Charlottesville Where Donald Trump Failed?”, I was immensely appreciative of what she had to say in regards to Trump’s response, well more specifically, lack of response towards the attacks at Charlottesville. When someone is held at such a high pedestal in which thousands and thousands of Americans look to this individual for not only clarity, but an appropriate manner of reacting to violent situations, this position of power should not be abused and rather upheld with the utmost urgency of addressing matters that need to be publicized. Being intentionally simple, repetitive, self-promoting, and self-prophesizing worked to get Donald Trump elected President of the United States. To win the respect they long for and deserve as well as open the eyes of the public to the current plight of public education in the United States, it would be wise for public school educators to draw on the Trump formula. If teachers and school administrators used the formula relentlessly to get their message across, there is no reason why it shouldn’t work for them as well.

President Obama and Vice President Biden endorsed Florida Congressman Patrick Murphy, and former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, for seats in the Senate in the upcoming election. Our president strikes again when it comes to importing and exporting goods to/from the United States. In a news article I found they talked about President Trumps and a potential trade war with China and what it may look like. A trade war would mean abandoning an institution that recognizes that countries are stronger when they work together. President Trump action might possible start a trade war with China according to a statement from economist.com when they stated “Mr. Trump might, with some justification, accuse China of boosting its economy with subsidies and flooding some American markets with cheap imports”.

The New York Times newspaper said that whatever the character or good morality that Donald Trump shows, it will not hide his incompetence for presidency, and if he wins the election will be a disastrous president.

“We aren’t electing a C.E.O. to occupy the White House. We’re looking for good judgment, broad life experience, flashes of wisdom,” said Timothy Egan in New York Times. Because of Obama’s presidential run, the american people been doubting if we should have a politician as our upcoming president, or if we should have a candidate that was a business background, this crowd want a business graduate because of the experience they supposedly posses.

President declares celebration because he just felt like it and well that’s not very cool when other people in your country and in other country are suffering from a lot of problems. Like when there was a gun shooting in Las Vegas like two weeks ago. Mr. President, you should be using the money you are about to waste to save a few lives and help with the problems. I am not saying that the president can’t have a party, of course, he can he’s the president . he can do whatever he wants, but I am saying that he is doing it at the wrong time, and not using the money for something useful and helpful.
