"The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli is about the origination of a prince. More or less how a prince can start from the bottom and become a great king or die at the feet of his people before reaching his prime. To become a prince there are many different ways which is explain in this book for example "To arrive at this position depends not entirely on worth". Stating that there are a number of way you can become a prince by Favor of the people, but must maintain a healthy friendship and offer protection to the citizens to be on good standards threw out the community. So in the end the book gives you two bias views on being a prince and stresses the rareness of being liked by everyone from your family to the citizens also even outsiders or an army. Which sums up that there were not that many princes that were able to have the love from the people and passion and protection from the soldiers in the army. This is why most princes and princes to come order to securely hold their position by "dividing their land into parts, others fomented enmities against themselves , others have endeavored to win over those whom they suspected at the commencement of their rule".
Mr. Machiavelli choose the title "The Prince" because it explain what a prince is and their everyday life or duties with other details that's behind the scene that's really never talked about. Also the story takes back in the B.C- A.D times seeing how Alexander IV is mention in the story as well as King Louis and many others. To set the tune of this book though I would say this would be a biography/story because it breaks down information. While retelling you pass events that occurred at this time and giving you both sides of the story. Also the different out comes of what happen during this time period and what was a the prince's finally decision on what took place in
