The first person I chose was none other than the iconic, motivational speaker, activist herself, Madam CJ Walker. She empowered so many women of color to be independent and has paved the way for aspiring and current entrepreneurs , mainly women, who are looking to go into the cosmetology field. Walker, whose birth name was Sarah Breedlove, hadn’t always been the successful entrepreneur she was, and had to work extremely hard to obtain her multi-million legacy. She was born when slavery was still prevalent, and her parents, as well as older siblings, worked as slaves on a plantation in Louisiana(her home state). Luckily, the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, freeing all slaves from their owners, Madam Walker was the first of her six siblings

Adam Farmer’s journey to find his identity began the day his family was stripped of their identities. They received new names, new jobs and a new life. On Adam’s expedition from Vermont to Massachusetts, he faced challenges and experienced multiple occasions of self-doubt. Although his bike journey was a difficult one, the real journey was the one he went though to rediscover his past. The many tapes that consisted of sessions with a man named Brint about “Adam Farmer’s” past were undated, resulting in the uncertainty of when they were recorded. These tapes contained information the government was searching for and were later on locked away in a government building for an unknown amount years. Now for the first time since these tapes were concealed from the public, government officials were permitted to listen to the information.

I believe that Tom Robinson is innocent and should not have been jailed. There were many reasons proving that Tom Robinson was innocent but I will just name a few. First, Tom Robinson was black and Bob Ewell was white, and they were going up against an all white jury. Already, Tom Robinson's chances of winning were incredibly slim. Second, Tom was a humble family man with a wife and children, all he wanted to do was lend a helping hand to someone who needed it.

Alex Kendrick was born in Athens, Georgia and grew up in Smyna, Georgia. Kendrick graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. He served as a minister to college students in Marietta, Georgia for four years. He then married his wife Christina and relocated to Albany, Georgia. One he settled down he then began preaching at Sherwood Baptist Church for several years in Albany, Georgia. During the years of preaching, he began writing , directing feature films, and producing.

It has been my deepest pleasure to have Bobby Burns as a student in my class. I have known him since he began school at Mountain Pointe and he has done nothing but impress me during his time here.

Billy Weaver, 17, came to Bath by train from London last weekend. That Monday, he failed to appear for his first day at his job. After missing three more days, the branch manager phoned Weaver's family, who reported that they had lat seen him getting on the train for Bath. Concerned, they notified the police. Nick Robinson is a very good looking American actor. He is mainly known as co-starring in the Melissa & Joey as Ryder Scanlon. He plays as the nephew of Mel Burke. He also played the protagonist in The Kings of Summer as Joey Toy. It was directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts.

My mom, Shameka Walker, was born in New Rochelle, New York in 1973. She has two sisters and one brother. Her mother moved from Virginia and her father moved from North Carolina She is mixed race. She was segregated because she was mixed. Her family left New york because there was high crime and poverty. She left New York when she was 4 years old. They moved to Los Angeles, California. They thought that it was better than New York, until they got there.

In 1956 John F. Kennedy published Profiles in Courage where he highlighted Senators who risked their careers to take a stand for what they believe in. The late President wrote,

RJ Walker spent several years working on an ambulance and during his time he came across several situations where he encountered people that he felt needed their story told but was bound by laws to not reveal their identity. Since he was a Spoken work artist, he made the decision to turn their story into what I fee is a lyrical masterpiece. Before reading this I ask a few things, first you read this with an open mind, it is a little graphic. Second please read it 3 times before passing judgment, try to take in what the RJ Walker is trying to say and try to understand his pain when writing this.

Achievement has no color (“Abraham Lincoln”). Being a successful athlete takes dedication and talent. Now, being the first ever African American athlete on an all-white league takes guts! For Jack Robinson, he tackled an early life of poverty and racist threats all while becoming a legend.

Aaron Copeland was not only a famous American Composer; he also was a conductor, promoter, educator, and leader, as well. His amazing leadership skills made him most known for branching out and creating this highly influential music with its own distinctive blend of idioms, not to mention his love for the music and his motivation to share it with the world. Copeland once said to someone that he wanted his music to portray just how it felt to be alive, in Brooklyn. He lived from 1900 to 1990. He born November 14 and was the youngest of five children, to a mother and father of Jewish and Eastern European decent, in New York.

There should be no room to clone any human being nor animal. There is so much more to find out about our world then to test the non-achieved and inefficient process of cloning. Therefore I am against any type of cloning, whether therapeutic or reproductive. Andy vidak I write to you this letter, to give you a better understanding of why funding for cloning would set us back as a society. Genuinely I care about our future because I want our generation to be known as the one who did brilliant things. The excuse that cloning can potentially result in medical breakthrough is unacceptable because, like president George W. Bush said in his 2002 speech about human cloning, “We can pursue medical research with a clear sense of moral purpose.” (Office of the Press Secretary par. 12). Research cloning would contradict the most underlying principle of medical ethics, that no human life should be exploited for the convenience of another. For that reason I stand by
