I am contacting you from Animal Fairy Charities. We would like to do an exclusive interview with you. In this interview we want to discuss your side of the story. We want to be able to understand what drove you to hurting Beatrice. We have set up a program that we hope will help parents recognize the early signs of what may lead to animal abuse. We need your help to do this. We want to ask you about your story, and what you think drove you to do this crime. In telling your story, we hope to make people understand that there is good in everyone. People make mistakes, but it is how they handle their mistake that defines the person they are. Help us show people who you really are. This program can do a lot of good. It will help prevent animal
Your generosity touches so many animals and people through our comprehensive array of animal adoption, shelter, rescue, humane education, foster care and other programs. Murder and abuse cases never fail to startle society. Moral codes are flouted with unmatched rigorousness by these indubitable egregious crimes. Sufferers in these cases are often people. Nonetheless, these callous obscenities should not be seen as less important when animals are the victims. Animals undergo horrendous abuse due to barbaric individuals, greed, and unnecessary lab testing.
Children who live in homes where animal abuse is present are often abused themselves and unfortunately, sometimes carry on with the cycle of abuse later on in life. “More than 80 percent of family members being treated for child abuse also had abused animals. In one-third of the cases, a child victim continued the cycle of violence by abusing a pet (“The animal abuse home violence connection”, 2013).”
Hello everyone. My name is Saniyah Foster and I am currently enrolled in introduction to speech at Columbia College. Growing up my family has always taught me to be kind to animals and we were surrounded by many of them throughout my childhood. Being a lover of animals I’ve always supported the efforts of organizations fighting for the lives of animals.
Aiden Lykken is the founder of the organization of Woofin & Hoffin 5K and Doggie Dash in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This organization are for the pets who don’t have a shelter or have been abused. Aiden has seen many situations like this happen with his own eyes. Now thousands of people are helping out by participating to help run the Woofin & Hoffin 5K and Doggie Dash to help support those animals that are abused. This young boy has made a huge difference beginning with his community and coming out big with other communities. Now a huge increase had began to grow, meaning people are taking in consideration of helping those animals who don’t have a shelter. A change has to be created in your home, community or wherever one tends to make a difference,
I am helping out as a volunteer at Philly ACCT (Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia) located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19140. Tons of animals are abandoned love during these precious times and I want to be the one to change that. I know what its like to have a family that despise you and try to belittle you. I have a dog myself but I would never dare do that to him. Animals and humans alike both have a heart that yearns for love so why do we abuse each other? At Philly ACCT you can be the change that can put a smile on an animals face once
The overall mission of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is to “be a voice for animals” (ASPCA). That mission is accomplished by providing an appealing website that effectively educates visitors not only on the major concerns but also on the need for their involvement if they hope to make progress towards solving those issues. Through continued traffic, to their website, the ASPCA aims to gain new supporters who they hope will become educators and ambassadors of their mission to further reduce the number of homeless animals and to end animal
Since 2013, I have had the privilege of working for the Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS). In my tenure, I have watched one of the largest cities in the United States achieve and sustain a live-release rate of greater than 90%. It’s been awe-inspiring and inspirational to me. Today, I’m hoping to put that inspiration to work and begin carving a new path in my animal welfare career by asking you to consider my application for the Maddie’s Shelter Management Scholarship. Due to financial constraints, I am unable to complete the program without the help of Maddie’s Fund.
“It is quite clear that in abusing animals we abuse our relationship with animals, and that we abuse ourselves. We become less human to the extent that we treat any living beings as things” (R.D. Laing). There is a very evident connection between animal cruelty and cruelty to other humans. In studies conducted between 1983 and 2004, 60% of children who met the criteria for child abuse/neglect had families that were cruel to their pets. In 88%
Bill Henry worked in the department of psychology in Denver, Colorado and he claims that there are two factors affecting participation in animals. “If a child from the age of 13 and younger experience animal abuse or witness it they are more likely to keep doing it later in their lifetime. For those who are older than 13 years of age and experience such a terrible act think of it as cruelty.” (Henry)
We can all come together and bring an end to the growing rate of animal cruelty. A brighter future for the earth’s ecosystem and human society, where more animals are happy and free. This can also prevent animals from going extinct. Although it won’t bring an end to it right away, we can at least begin to make it come to an end. We can have more people feel even more humane about life, knowing that animal cruelty is being fought and removed from existence. It will bring people to justice for what they did to the animals. This will be a revolutionary idea for a better and new future for our kids in the
Activist: I am from an animal rights group and we want to understand why are you doing this?
The hands-on opportunity that you gave us will help me prepare for the FFA competition in April, because we were able to work with real live animals. Most of the other competitors won’t be able to have that experience
What would you think if I told you that even the negative things in your life can be used for the good? What if every trauma you've ever suffered through, has actually been put into place to be used as testimonies? Instead of living in shame of your past and actions, perhaps one you will one day share your incredibly journey and testimonies with others so that they can relate to you, and find healing in their life as well?
